Her father said that the child is hospitalized but not fighting for her life, she’s walking n talking. Being a mother of a child that lived in the children hospital w/ a child that battled a critical illness for 15 years, don’t put that out in the universe . She’s 21 now and doing very well

Funky you said that you found the "dark meat on the side" comments from Jeannie to be harmless but you can take issue with her actions now. Here's how the 2 relate... Jeannie said she doesn't want dark meat as the MAIN dish. Being a HUSBAND is the main dish. Being a FATHER to your kids is the main dish but now she's saying he's too dangerous to be that smh. Everything she's doing now is what she meant when she said she likes dark meat on the side but not as the main dish. She'll take the "love making" and money (side dish), but would never respect him as a father, husband, or leader (main dish). Her " dark meat on the side" comment was harmful because it reinforced that black men are only good for what's between their legs but fall short when it comes to being the "main course", the father's, the husbands, the bosses, the leaders, the role models, etc.
