This is my favourite ABBA song too, and I think it's definitely one of the best covers he did, simply spectacular. He covered this song before, on his Swedish Hitz Goes Metal album, and while I really loved that cover, this one is so much better, not only vocally, but also much more emotional. I love that he chose a different approach. Instead of trying to sound as broken and vulnerable as Agnetha did (let's be honest, nobody can beat her there, this song was too personal for her), he sounds angry and sarcastic, which definitely works. Amazing

I just love Tommy. He can turn any music or song into hisown. I just love him and his music. Every friday after work I can just relax watching his covers. Thanks Tommy...

I understand your sentiment and agree. I was listening to ABBA in their heyday. They were a major part of my adolescent soundtrack.

Yes, Tommy gave this song a totally new energy - but was it quote: "fun and upbeat"? I don't think so. His cover still has that melancholic tone. Unlike the original he doesn't illustrate someone being down for count. He gives us a persona who has rised up and are angry and energetic about it! Also one of Tommys vocally finest songs.

Thanks for sharing. I have to agree with you. I miss the sensitivity and to sing this high falsetto isnt always suitable. Although he is fantastic in his style i sometimes miss the naked weakness in his voice. To use more air in his voice sometimes. Still a Swedish guy to be proud of. Thanks 🙏
