Yes the quarry Dalhalla is a very cool place and I can recommend you to start your Deep Purple tour with Burn live at California jam in front of 300000 in the audience.
We love him, we love him, we love him!!!! I missed him so much❤❤❤❤ he is so awesome. Musically, Vocally, his guitar skills are incredible!!!! Our Swedish treasure ❤❤❤
I am sure you have heard Deep Purple before. For example Smoke on the water. Every young child have played the beginning of that music on the guitar. Another song is Child in time. Strange kind of woman and a many more. Their music was what I grew up with.
You are always more than welcome to join the stream before release. We have a fun time😂 In Sweden its noon, but you must have an inconvinient hour. This really was a hot cover.
You should check out Deep Purple - Burn, Live At The 1974 California Jam. The bassist in the white suit that sings back-up in that video is Glenn Hughes which is the man you see on stage with Tommy in this video. Deep Purple are badass. It's a great rabbit hole to dive into imho.
I was shocked that you were not familiar with the song "Burn" which in my opinion is one of the absolute best songs of all time. The taste is different. This song can be heard by almost all heavy metal bands that play covers. The good thing is that all musicians get the chance to show what they can do (if they want) On my travels I often visit rock clubs and wish for this to see what status they are on the band. The instrument that is most amazing in this song is the Hammond organ in the original. Jon Lord is the king 😁 Gleen Hughes sing this everytime he is out and touring.
That’s the Tommy face that we love and have missed 😍❤️❤️❤️. Yes, Tommy is on Rhapsedy in Rock, check it our, the also great Robert Wells( an amazing pianoplayer) has been doing this for many years and he always has a great lineup . Dalhalla in Dalarna Sweden is a fantastic place in a quarry as you said 😍❤️❤️❤️…!
Here's the original, with David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes on vocals (Glenn does the screams - that's Glenn on stage with Tommy). Tommy kills Richie Blackmores solo, with his own special treatment. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZQGstnfTmAk.html&pp=ygUQZGVlcCBwdXJwbGUgYnVybg%3D%3D
3:24 Arena Valhalla in the landscape of Dalarna Sweden. Valhalla lies down in a disused mine. Extremely good acoustics. Valhall (Old Norse: Valhǫll) or romantically "Valhalla" is hall of the slain. A majestic hall located in Asgard and presided over by the god Oden or Odin. Taken from the Gods of the Vikings called in Prural "Asar" Ingular an AS. Example Thunder god Thor (not Thor which is a Hollywood spelling) Thor is a god of one As.
I wondered if that was Glenn Hughes. Glad I wasn't wrong. Burn was made for Tommy. Loved it and loved that Tommy was back! I was getting depressed since was on his well deserved vacation. 😊❤
Great cover well done Tommy Johansson. However I am an oldie....I will put the edge with the original .... Ritchie Blackmore burning up the guitar and David Coverdale/ Glenn Hughes on vocals.
Listen to Highway Star, then My Woman from Tokyo, and keep Smoke on the Water until later. Deep Purple was a great band. They had Tommy Bolin for a short time. Check Bolin out, too.
Hello my dear Tommy fan, paying attention to the sound, is this drum digital? Because it's different from the other videos, it gave me the impression that it's the drums of a band itself.Someone who understands please explain to me, because if it's digital, our Thor ⚒️ of the guitar 🎸 is outdoing himself every day.👏🌋🔥💯 I consulted the original and there is a keyboard there, which was widely used at that time.🎹
