Intro is hilarious. This one is quite a song, a masterpiece from the one who can only pull this off. Emotional, voice has such depth and meaning, great tribute to Queen Elizabeth.

Yes, we know, that Tommy can do Rock and Metal with his incredible voice and musical skills, but this video shows, he can emotional, too. Outstanding good. Freddy still stays Freddy, in my opinion he was the greatest entertainer of all times. Most covers by others ruin the song, the memory or lead to perversion. Tommys version kept the memory, the mood and lifted it up to his own level. Worth to stand aside equally.

The song came from the movie "The Highlander". The main is an immortal, the song is for the love of his life,who in ageing in front of his eyes and eventually dies, while he is helplessly watching. The context of the song hits me in the feels every time.

This was really wonderful tribute, just as good as Adam Lambert's Isle of Wight performance (that was, in my opinion, best and most emotional performance of this song ever, not counting Freddie - he is untouchable). Tommy, just like Adam, has the ability (and the voice) to capture the spirit of the song, while still making it his own. I've learned to expect much of Tommy, but still I'm in awe every time

I hear ya David, i hear ya. Yeah, this is definitely one of the most beautiful songs ever written in any music genre. Brian has written so many extremely good songs but this is his crown jewel. In the album version, "Kind of magic", Brian sings it with Freddie and made it a super hit for years to come. But for me this song will always be the song in the movie "Highlander". And everytime i hear this song performed by Queen i can see in my eyes the scene from the movie, when Connor MacLeod leave his goodbyes to his wife Heather. And i got a lump in my throat. Freddie's voice and the song itself and of course the movie...well it is just indescribable. Here Tommy did a fantastic cover (once again) and a fantastic dedication to a great human being (R.I.P Elisabeth) . Tommy's version is one of the best covers of this song. But his voice is absolutely brilliant to cover any songs that Freddie has done. I can understand that this song has such an impact for you. I'm in the same boat. But hey, that world's best beer helps, doesn't it? 😁 And if one doesn't, you can always take an other one...😆 Yup, thanks David. Take care.
