Tommy is a great Metal singer,he plays all his own instruments very talented and i love all his videos and his performances are very beautiful specially his smile at the end of his songs , i just love his high powerful voice and he’s beautiful ❤
Many have tried but nobody comes close to Farnsey, this was probably the best attempt to cover an Australian national treasure who is arguably the best singer of his time which spans 54yrs , I love how now with the emergence of social media, the world has discovered what we Aussies have been blessed with all these years, this is a song just as relevant today as when it was written all those years ago, no wonder it's looked on as an unofficial national anthem In Australia .
Tommy sounds great in this song and the guitar oh yeah, his voice perfection, he can do any song and transform it, multi instrumentalist, extremely talented, hard working man, deserves alot of praise for what he puts out, bravo!!🔥🎸👍🎸😎😍❤️Check out his RU-vid channel ever Friday.
Now you you just need to watch the original and the best from John Farnham, Live with the Melbourne Symphony and all the Aussies will be here to subscribe ❤
It’s in the key of F because John Farnham thought it needed the bagpipes and bagpipes only play F so they altered the key of the song. (According to the documentary “Finding the Voice”
How can he have a voice like that? I mean, it's just _nuts._ He can cover anyone's song, anyone who's famous for having a fantastic voice, different types of voices - and he does it as well, OR BETTER, than them. One in a million (ten million?) voices. Voice boxes? When did he know? He probably went to thr Music program in high school (random comment). I get the feeling that he has a somewhat trained voice (and knows that kind of material; choir singing and such) when he singsthings like "Helga natt" (Holy Night." Gorgeous.
You are always so much fun 😉 this one made me go on a journey in childhood memories.. have had fun listening to Farnhams other songs (not all of them) and enjoying them. Loving Tommy for bringing us along on his musical journey.. its starting to be a fulltime job to keep up 😂
Haha it's a nightmare trying to keep track. Thank you so much for the nice comment. I like to do serious and fun things in equal measure. Even if people don't like some stuff I hope they are entertained, i really enjoy doing it!
This man never stop to amaze you. The KING of powermetal strikes again and Tommyfies you, just love him! By the way as a baryton more than a tenor I love to sing in the F key 🤘🤘
@@ALMELMUSIC In the shower lol, made some records in the 80-ties but i dont have a old LP-player so I havent listen to it for some 20 years. Just started to listen to music again (thanks Tommy) because a depression due to a hand illness called the viking decease who made my fingers bent out of shape and couldnt play the guitar and piano no more. Before that I was like you grabbing the axe when you listen to music and jam with it. Miss it like crazy!
I love this song! But Almel, when you brought out your guitar you forgot to put your Tommy-wig on... 😮 I swear that hair is even prettier than Tommys golden locks! 😁 Good reaction video. ☹️ Although you didn't wear your wig! ☹️
Youre wearing a Def Leppard t-shirt so you need to listen to John Farnham's version if Black Dog. Def Leppard's version is great....and then John just kills it! His vocals are unbelievable! No video as it was just a sound-check BEFORE the concert!! So worth a listen. If you like Def Leppards version, you will LOVE this one.
@@ALMELMUSIC Ha!! Of course! I've lost it! You are of course correct....however I hope you do indeed enjoy it. Just checking this old mind and body into respite 😄😄😄
It was very good but I want to see him running around the stage interracting with the audience and still keep the power going. I am bias as I am an Aussie but I didn't hear enough gritty tone. Also the equipment now really enhances voices and can provides effects that John Farnham didn't have in the 80's. To be fair the thing with John is he goes from heavy rock to jazz to rock opera to a ballard without even trying. How he interacted with 9:44 and encouraged the audience to join in was also incomparable. You just have to see the beginning of HELP live with the MSO.
He does a great job, the original with John Farnham and the MSO is unmatched. Delta Goodrem is another one you have to check out singing this song, she’s Australian
@@ALMELMUSIC John Farnham is an Australian legend and we call him the voice down under. You should react to John singing a Beatles cover of “help” live with the Melbourne symphony orchestra. You will get a lot of Australian subscribers
Sadly there is only one person who can perform this song!!! That is "John Farnham" Do yourself a great favour and watch it....live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra....🇦🇺🇦🇺
Yes I have seen that version, it is awesome isn't it? I prefer that version to the actual recorded version. Whenever this song is spoken about that version with the symphony comes up. I have recorded a guitar cover of that version and it turned out reall well. I was worried about doing a version of it incase I didn't do it justice, but I just wanted my subscribers to see how good that version from John is! It will be available on my channel on Friday at 6pm UK time so Saturday morning in Australia!!!! Thanks for your interaction.
He's OK but I think that John Farnham, the original singer, is better. And if you think the start is powerful you should watch John Farnham live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
I dont get it, why this song? Is it a Euro thing? Its blatantly anthemy, cheeseball musically really. Tommy shoulda just did Top Gun's Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins. Rather, Def Lepp's Hit and Run.
You never know, he may well do lol. Tommy can sing most things, he pays tribute with his style to these great songs rather than anything else. I might do Another Hit and Run...it's a great song from an awesome album. I have recorded Lady Strange a couple of times but just never put it out on my channel. Might redo that this weekend!
