I grew up with the Dodgers and went to all the home games with my parents and little brother. My parents are from Brooklyn and cheered for Dem Bum's before moving to Los Angeles and wonderfully the Dodgers moved to La also. Dodger baseball is just a beautiful golden thread in the fabric of my life. My mother a month before she passed away from brain cancer wished she could see her beloved Dodgers one last time and we took her to a night game and she was happy. I'm writing this with tears of remembrance. 💕 ⚾ Goooo Dodgers. RIP Tommy

The one voice I will truly miss. The greatest baseball announcer I have ever heard in my 67 years on this earth. I heard Vin when u was four years old growing up in LA. My dad was an avid Dodger fan and during the baseball season, when he arrived home from work, he'd turn on the radio or KTTY channel 11 and we'd watch or listen to the game. Vin Scully would put you right theirduring thr game. Whether it was Crosley Field in Cincinnati, Forbes Field in Pittsburg, Connecticut Mack Stadium in Philadelphia or Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta. I heard him the night Kofax pitched his no hitter and I cried when Joe Morgan and the Giants defeated the Dodgers on the last game of the season and the Giants knocked the Dodgers out of the pennant. My first time visiting Dodger Stadium was way back in 1961. I watched the Dodgers beat the Giants 3 to 1 and Larry Sherry and Ron Peronsky combined for a 5 hitter. I sat in the center field bleachers with my sister and her boyfriend. It was my 6th birthday. I recall using my sisters binoculars to because i was trying to look for Vin Scully. In the crowd. Vin Scullu taigth me so much about the game of baseball. As long as I live he will be the voice of the Dodgers and if their is a heven, I hope to hear his voice when I get their. Peace forever; Vin Scully.

I was a grade schooler in the 70s. Baseball was life to me! Growing up, I only knew of the Dodgers and the Yankees. I fell in love with the Dodgers and did not like the Yankees. I watch game upon game and started to emulate the players when I played little league. Those were some great times! And, Tommy Lasorda was one of the reasons for me being so passionate when I played. I wish I could have met him, but I will never forget him. RIP Tommy! GO DODGER BLUE!
