Joe Hipp was my guy. I grew up in Yakima and watched him fight at small venues. He didn't look buff but he broke a few jaws and ribs of many a heavy weight. We were so excited when he got this fight with Big Tommy. Man that was really a battle of beasts in the heavyweight division.
The BlackFeet were known for their fighting when the "White man" was trying to take over, if you want trouble on the Browning Res, you will find it. With that said they are a very fun happy people. As a Montanan I am very proud of hipp, thanks for the shoutout to him.
What a fight this was, and Hipp, what a guy. I've spent my last three days of freetime researching and learning about the indigenous people of Northern America and somehow stumbled here. What a people the Blackfeet and what a man.
@@SlayerofFictionNo Problem, Good 4 the Blackfeet, we saw him live and on TV. We had a household full in Yakima to watch this fight and were rooting so hard.
I remember watching this live. I was a big Morrison fan and thought the overweight and awkward Hipp would be disposed of within 2 rounds. Boy was I wrong!! Joe Hipp earned my respect this fight! That guy was tough as nails and a highly skilled fighter.
