11:45 there is no salary cap but there are regulations, clubs are only allowed to spend the amount of money they generate so if you want to spend big you have to generate a lot of money through ticket sales, merch sales, transfers, TV Contracts, sponsorships etc. it's called financial fairplay or FFP for short, definitely has it's flaws but it had to be implemented because transfer fees were rising to astronomical figures which endangered the financial stability of the big leagues and clubs This applies in Europe but not necessarily in other places, in Saudi Arabia for example there are no regulations at all and 4 teams in the league are owned by the Governing family of the country (one of the 3 richest families in the world), that's why they can offer players billion dollar contracts for just 1-2 seasons, the league is still shit compared to top leagues though as only 4 teams are "good" and even those are mostly filled with almost retired players and mercenaries, the Saudi Pro league was ranked as the 66th strongest league in the world before they got Ronaldo and started spending money like they're the US military
Yooo thank you for these comments, this actually taught me a lot! Makes sense as to why Real & Man City spend can spend a lot and why the Saudi teams go above and beyond💀
23:07 he's not, that speed is Tyreek's highest speed in an NFL game so with pads and equipment, without equipment he's faster than Haaland. That being said Haaland (despite being 6"4, 210 lbs) is one of the fastest football players in the world, he once ran 60 meters in 6.64 seconds during a game against PSG and the world record over 60 meters is 6.34 seconds so that's insane speed, especially when you consider how tall and strong he is, that's why I miss watching him play on a counter team, he's the most terrifying player in the world on the counter but City is literally the most anti-counterattacking team in the world. Haaland is Norwegian btw and his 60meter time is only 0.09 seconds off the Norwegian record so yes some of these players are almost as fast as the track stars of their countries. Fun fact: To this day Haaland holds the world record for the longest recorded standing jump by a 6 year old at 1.63 meters
