me too, one day I myself will bring back the scene, once I get the resources, someday. And much love to Pauly of Sympty, the whole scene changed after his passing. Miss the Key Skate as well. Synergy and Columns of Knowledge tried their best, but they too eventually fell off. I have yet to find myself on any vids/photos, but I am sure they are out there floating around. that's way cool to see yourself there. kinda reminds you to stay true to your younger self.

I used to know one of the girls in mosh pit that ran Gabber Girls and she is right next to you in black. I also recognize Russian guy in blue with pony tail, Punk BTS can be seen and Pauly Sympty and others. I actually bumped into guy from my Junior High School (Vladimir / Walter BTS) but he was too crilled out to even recognize me :) I threw Scream rave by Urban Assault at The Wave on Halloween 1999 ;)

@@nikidino8 Well Lenny is a really good producer, who’s playing good records, but over here in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 We took it to the next top with awsome mixing whilst playing good records ✌🏻It’s worth checking out the Dutch Raves tho! But anyway it’s really nice to see that lenny rocks the dutch ‘93 sound in the states, cuz it’s so unpopular over there… But respect to to lenny tho! There’s a dutch golden DJ rule… Better play good with with the lack of good mixing instead of good mixing whilst playin bad records ✌🏻 Btw he’s using some basic hiphop mixing assets which almost all of the Dutch DJ’s got a lack of… Except some popular DJ’s like The Viper, Bass-D, DarkRaver… It’s definitely worth to check ‘m out!

Hardcore was NYC, the rave plur thing really didn't fit that well imo, you always came with a large group to avoid problems, i leaned towards the hardcore scene because the rave thing was too cheese.

the freeparty scene certainly isn't what it used to be, but it's still going strong if you're in the loop :)

It was fun! I'm the tool in the blue shirt and neon orange triangle with long hair that jumps in. None of my friends wanted to go in with me and not knowing anyone there and still being new to the city (for college) I'm total awkward in when and how to participate. But I wanted to! And it was a blast! Glad to see everyone smiling into the lens at one point too :)

That shit was bananas! There's a pic someone took at this party and you see how massive the pit is and I'm just so glad I was around during this time. Kids nowadays have no idea how dope parties were in the early 90's.

I heard LA parties were fucking insane. Kids tearing apart the speakers and going crazy in the mosh pits. That would've been something my sis and I would've enjoyed.

It was a VHS-C camera if I remember correctly. Probably a JVC model. I'm amazed how well it handled audio when I was right in front of the speaker. It must have had some built-in audio limiter with quality I don't even hear from todays digital cameras or camera phones. It's shocking. It's like eating a Reece's - there's no wrong way to enjoy it. I never saw it before either, but as someone who also went to metal/punk shows I was glad to see the two styles combine. I'm the long haired weirdo in a blue shirt with bright orange designs who gets his pony tail yanked and pushed around a lot. LOL - I had a lot to learn.

Errmm.. not sure it's exactly the same. Hardcore electronic music is still pretty aggressive so it's not too surprising to see people mosh. Jazz hands at a Napalm Death concert is a bit of an extreme - not really a comparison. But now I want to test that out at my next metal show.
