Wow, now me too. He was acting just a him: facial expressions, the enthusiasm and mixed with a temperament which is somewhere on the line between madness and genius
@@Anonymous-wv9zvyou mean lying and taking the last dime from people who can’t afford it? Anyone who is remotely enamored with this grifter needs help.
@Adrian not talking about being sold tickets or admission prices. He's selling more than just seats at a seminar. Selling begins with intangible factors like like planting ideas and building trust. Happens long before someone makes a physical purchase.
It's effective bro I really apply in our language Damn my 1st 10 call I got 4 close deal on the spot ... It's powerful... This training is just a glimps
Been in sales my entire life (Commercial Real Estate and Lending). Everything this guy says is 100% on point. People give Jordan a bad reputation because of his past. But ya know what, he is an absolutely incredible Salesperson and a great coach.
@@DatiusDeodatus Lol you’re going to learn from some random guy in the comments section that could be anywhere in the world for all you know. Interesting take.
When I was a salesman I watched these videos, years later I'm building my skillset to include construction and it's crazy how I remember everything from this video. Jordan Belfort has a freaky way of grabbing your attention
The way he writes he will give doctors a run for their handwriting, but the way he teaches sales is far more valuable then any seminar that I have been in my entire life.
What I like about Jordan is he approaches sales from a holistic view. He doesn't discount education or other fields that aren't his own. He takes the best from everything and applies it.
So true. Your tone and body language is essential. My competition is the Internet as a Travel Consultant I have to bring value to my clients and beyond. Also another thing follow up with your clients make them feel important. I make sure I email them or call them. I try to bring the human connection and that bring value.
@facethief I'm also thinking that he's a psycho, but I'm also one of them with a couple disorders. Genius and madness aren't very different, in fact big sucess stories are often the compensation for mental dysfunction. Napoleon Bonaparte and his height is the perfect example for that. Also many bosses are narcisstic.
@@RaptorProducts1991 Napoleon's height was pretty average for his time. It is because of british propaganda that everyone think that he was a small dude.
4:28 - Sharp as a tack. Enthusiastic as hell. An expert. 5:46 - Tonality gives you control of the conversation. We draw their attention. 6:08 Tonality and Body language. They should deep down feel that you care. Btw these 2 are 90 of the conversation. 8:43 Charisma = Effective tonality, effective body language, not saying stupid shit.
I've been in sales for 15 years. He is 100% right, and one of the few that are able to also teach it so simply. Obviously sales isn't easy, but it is simple when you boil it down.
So solid! Love how he focuses on how important it is to focus in style and not words. The power of our questions dictate the quality of their responses
What's so good about this is that even while training he's selling. Also after watching a lot of these videos it's interesting to spot when someone is trying to sell or influence you.
Algo muy importante que agregaría es la "mentalidad" y la preparación, si no tienes la mentalidad correcta será más difícil lograr la tonalidad, lenguaje y palabras, claro prepararse también. Pero si en esencia son 3 puntos clave 1. Lenguaje corporal 2. Tonalidad 3. Palabras
You k ow Jordan I am from a 3rd world country, and english is not my first language+accent is strong but I am so influenced by your life story I bought your book and kept watching videos and now I finally get it .... I have been bombing sales lately but I will keep improving using your technique. Thanks for inspiration
Can honestly say this works. I have zero college, have some military background and 3 years ago I walked into one of the largest investment firms in the world. No series 7, no series 63, no history in finance or anything like that. Barely passed high school. By the time I walked out of there I had a job in finance and I’ve been there for the last three years and I’m fucking crushing it. It’s all about how you present yourself.
You don't know me sir but you helped me get a remote job for your country. I have zero experience and I'm from a third world country. Thank you very much sir. :)
I admire this. Not the business advice, but the motivational speaker racket. This is truly beautiful. No feds can shit on you for selling ideas, no government can send you down the shitter for advice not panning out. If you tell someone desperate that you've got it figured out, they'll bite. Same as sales. The man never switched businesses and that's where you find the real reasons for his success. Good shit.
But he actually taught hundreds of people how to bullshit the richest people on earth. He definitely knows what he's doing and now he's just charging people to learn how to bullshit others
@@MNMNMNMNMNMNMNMNMNMNMNMNMNMN If you manage to defraud the wealthiest 1% of people on earth your bullshit works. The proof is in the pudding. Where do you think all that money came from
Me acting like a sales man, going to office every day, visit my clients site and pitch them, guide my sales engineers to support me, to go to meetings to meetings as our everyday work. For such an introvert, I deserve an Oscar.
You know what they say that everyone is a born salesman? Do you guys believe this? Since the day we were born, we were selling our selves to our moms. Thats why we cry to get her attention and get cuddled. It's a hard bargain and a hard negotiation.. But she still ends up buying it haha It's in us.. If Jordan could do it, we could do it. We just have to find what we are good at and focus on it. Anyway awesome video JB! Any news on the cage match? I strongly believe you will beat the shit out of Cardone.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT CARDONE SAID IN A REAL OLD VIDEO.. BE ORIGINAL BRUH, CARDONE CAME UP WITH BABY BEING SALESMAN.. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING BAD ENOUGH, YOU WILL BE VOID OF FEAR AND INSECURITY AND BE ABLE TO SELL WITH EASE. PPL WHO ARE BAD AT SALES ARE TRYING TO HARD. SALES IS BEING YOURSELF, HANDLING OBJECTIONS AND CLOSING. NOT A FUCKING SCRIPT. ITS CALLED INTUITION AND VALUE. YOU NEED TO LISTEN WELL, HAVE DEEP INTUITION, HAVE EMPATHY AND BE ABLE TO CONVEY THE VALUE PROPOSITION CLEARLY TO THE BUYER. - TO BE A GREAT SALESMAN - IT IS AN EMOTIONAL GAME WITH A BUYER, ALWAYS. THEY BUY TO MAKE THEM FEEL A TYPE OF WAY.
@@ShaneHummus I strongly disagree Jordan definitely is more intelligent but Grant would most likely win. Jordan's too smart to get in a fucking cage anyways.
You cannot possibly compare JB with cardone when it comes to sales. Cardone is always right, you are always wrong, its all about himself, nothing about the customer. You cant even hold a conversation with that guy without him proving you are wrong and he is right. Wake up
Jordan..as crazy as this may come across..everything you say..i already was that person several years ago. I totally concur and you are 100 right. Test me if you like. I was the best salesman within my dept until i moved areas. 👍
Guy's. Some people are saying the straight line doesn't work blah blah. When it comes to tonality. A mistake that i made was trying to sound like JB. You can't be like JB. You have to increase YOUR totality so it sounds just as good as JB. You can literally improve your voice. You can train it. Aim for implement. Always❤
I taught myself how to sell actually doing in person panhandling, but disguised as a real need. It's actually pretty addictive. I found it a lot better making 100 in an hour than spending all day doing pretty much useless day labor for 40 or 50 bucks.
So here’s the thing. I consider myself to be quite charming, the people I meet usually say that. BUT I’m not the most confident person. Sometimes I overthink what I’m about to say and I might stutter a little bit (not a lot just slightly), or my tone of voice comes out less confident then I intend to. I also feel slightly anxious at times, which can lead to awkward body language. But I’d love to do sales, I’d love to improve this part of myself. What’s the best way to go about doing this? I feel like if I just jump into it I’m gonna have so many face palm moments and it’s gonna make my anxiety go high. I know i have it in me to be the guy that this dude talks about, just that my overthinking holds me back. I’m terrified of public speaking as well. I realize that these are irrational fears, but it does affect my body language and tonality, and can give off a weak first impression of myself that I don’t intend to give off. What’s the best way to fix this? Any advice?
I'm similar in some respects. I think you'd be good at sales. Take a telephone based sales role for 6months selling a half decent product/service and you'll learn so much. The anxiety does increase, and you will definitely have some face palm moments. But over time, could literally be half a day on the phone, that anxiety subsides and you start to really mean what you say and the tonality and flow of your voice will improve really quickly. Watch your body language on the call, no crossed legs and lean back on the chair not into your desk. You don't need to be confident at public speaking to be good at telephone based sales, I'm not, but I can sell on the phone. I'm wayyyyy less anxious now that I've done sales and I'm seeing other areas in my day to day improve because of it. Good luck.
@@haris000000 So I have an update to this. I don’t even remember posting this tbh lol. But here goes. I’ve been working in sales now for about a year and I’m great at it. It’s funny though, when I’m doing a “salesman to customer” interaction, I have almost no social anxiety. But when I’m in normal interactions, I still haven’t improved. So it’s helped me at actually doing sales, but outside of work I still have a lot of social anxiety. It’s a different mindset from being a salesman in the workplace to just having regular interactions with people.
Great vid!Could you tell us that the book you read to improve/upgrade your selling skill?(I've just finished reading THE WAY OF WOLF and it helped a lot)
I have read your book. The way of the wolf where you have told about the 4 second rule. That is 1) Sharp as a tack 2) Enthusiastic as hell and 3) An Expert in your field But i couldn't relate with the 7th chapter of your ADVANCED TONALITY where you told to make your TONALITY in sucha an order that you genuinely care about the person. And also please explain me the term The three separate human desires.
