Almost certainly be picking one of these up. That subtle Tele / Two Rock tone at about 7:20 and again at 8:30 is lovely. (And nice dynamics in the playing to show what this pedal is capable of too).

I know it's cliché when demo guys say this, but I've been absolutely bowled over by this one. It has been so convenient for just grab and go playing that I've used it in other guitar vids already and it's no compromise on the tone too. That Tele tone really does encourage the touch sensitive and dynamic playing and I'm more than happy to oblige(as best I can 🤣🤣). Great video 🎸👍🏻 I really recommend the Studio Rats Tonex packs, they have some awesome amp captures to choose from.

I already have the Axe I/O One with the Tonex SE software for my home recording rig, so when I saw that this was under $200 and my tax refund was arriving before the credit card bill will be due I went ahead and preordered it. A couple things I'd love to see them do in a future pedal that I think would place the size and price between this and the original Tonex pedal would be an LED display for the tuner, and two separate output jacks with the ability to switch off the IR for each output individually (which I'm pretty sure you can do with the original pedal, but I'm not sure if you can with the Tonex One). But having this much functionality in a mini pedal for under $200 after tax is a no-brainer. Tonex amp profiles sound great, and who needs a Kemper when you can work this into a pedalboard rig and have as much versatility as you want?

Yeah it's insane how they've managed to cram this level of tech into such a small footprint. It does lack a few features of the big one, and some features are hidden behind the software or some convoluted button press combinations. As a stand alone, simple profiler, it's hard to beat.
