Just tried this. It took a few tries to coordinate the movements. Feeling some relief in my jaw and neck. I have suffered from bruxism and have TMJ disorder. I have ongoing daily pain from clenching. I will try to do this regularly. Thank you Dr 😊
Dear Mr. Dr. Perry, I am an osteopath and a physio from Germany. Your channel is informative and I love to see that you use western and eastern concepts together. Also I really enjoy your explanations and there is no system working alone. I have one question to you: when you treat a patient. How is a session working. Do you work more on a patient with passiv treatment and Hengst all this super exercises as homework. Or are you doing more aktiv treatment? In my head you started as Chiropraktiker and learned and changed more and more of your style of working. Sorry for my English, thx for your hard work.
Thank you my friend. I love osteopathy. I do more passive treatments and they do the active on their own. Most of my patients have already been doing active therapies and they are still suffering. So my work is more about discovering what the underlying problem really is
@@stopchasingpain thank you very much for your fast response. That helps me and for my work a lot. In the last years passiv treatments have a bad standing in science and I always reflect my working. Thank you for your work, and I really have to say, your content is one of the holistically ones I can enjoy. Thank to you mr. Dr. Perry
Good info, the tongue and eyes are so important to our posture and balance but never considered by most practitioners. Doing tongue and eye movement has been instrumental in improving my scoliosis.
Great video!!! I enjoy the exercises. I have ms and due to the brain lesions, I have this vertigo and the exercises I will continue to do every day from now on. Thank you ❤
Your understanding of all the interconnected parts is fantastic. It is great that you emphasize the breathing since it seems so important. I would also add that for neuroplasticity it is important to feel "safe and calm"... maybe by doing a physiological sigh before the exercises and making sure you are thinking thoughts of gratitude, etc to maximize the plasticity. I have added these and the VOR exercises to my routine and I can finally "crack" my neck after three years DIY physical therapy... but I still have some ways to go.
This is so timely for me!! Thank you for this information. I was recently told by a chiropractor and physical therapist, I walk with my tounge? I have difficulty holding my tounge to the roof of my mouth and my tounge shakes when I try these moves. The chiropractor is working on my cervical spine. Again thank you for this I have hope this will help my right side pain while walking. 🙏🙏
Really, that's not difficult and great for the connection and balance between the right and left hemisphere 👍 I've done it with pulling the right knee up, left hand touching that knee, eyes to the left, and the other way around. Now getting the tongue in as well is a marvelous idea❤
Thankyou Dr Perry. Loved this. I did get quite a bit of pressure in my ears afterwards. I also occasionally get a whirring tinnitus in my ears that this felt similiar too?
You might cover this, but I'm going to listen to the whole thing later, but I wonder if you've worked these exercises with patients with TBI's and motion sensitivity
Yes but you must go super slow and easy. They cannot tolerate a lot of stimulation. I never do these exercises until I clear the lymphatics and blood flow to/from the brain first
Thank you!! Had breast explant surgery March 5th this year. Diagnosis Sojourns. Extreme pain in my whole body and fatigue. Hoping your info is going to help. Found you on a ex plant channel. As you know in case others don't...breat implants explanted . Pretty much bed ridden. Should i come see you?
no difficult and useful, I felt some hydration in the eyes, the dry in my eyes is a big trouble that I have from decades. I used tounge exercises but yours help me very much, thank you.
Your info & demo are SO appreciated!! Question... I unexpectedly found these easy, soothing and with no dizziness; however I unconsciously began to gently rock, which is one of my stims. Thoughts?
That 'may' be from the tongue muscles influencing the neck muscles and it's also a reflex point when lymphatics are not flowing well. However, history also matters here. It should ease up in time. If it does not stope these exercises for new and visit our Neck Lymph Assessment video
