This was weeks after his tragic passing. She is incredibly couregous. She just came out with a version of hunger strike. It is incredible how much of her father is in Toni Cornell
Too all the people with the ignorant comments and opinions. This young girl just lost her father, her role model the love of her life and to top it off her father's friend passed shortly after. The courage and strength to dedicate a beautiful song however you perceive the lyrics. It is art, it is a touching tribute to Chris and Chester. Much love and respect to both families you are greatly missed.
Not to mention, this song was chosen because that was what Chester sang at Chris's funeral. So don't blame anyone there for what the lyrics imply, they can't control it.
@@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid Exactly, So sad the pictures, the song. The last Soundgarden show I saw I was right at the front of the stage and Chris kept making eye contact with me. I don't now if it was because I was so close or if I had too many beers and was rockin' out! Lucky to see Soundgarden at big shows from beginning to end. Wasn't a big Linkin Park fan, respect to Chester and Chris and all fans! Still brings tears to my eyes. Loud Love!
I love this version. I miss her Dad a lot too. She does have the same mannerisms as her Dad did and looks just like him. I am going to listen to Chris's version of "Nothing Compares 2 U, which is my favorite version of that.

I’ll never understand how she managed to get through this song, especially at such a young age. You can see the hurt and pain, as well as disbelief in her eyes too. Chris & Chester have helped so many through tough times with their music and to see them both go in such a way is absolutely heartbreaking & devastating
Beautiful performance! I grew up as a huge fan of L.P., Soundgarden, and Audioslave and it still hits me in the gut. It doesn't seem real. I hope everyone, including their children and families, find peace. RIP Chester and Chris. You are missed!

It took me two weeks to just leave my bedroom after my dad died. She shows great strength by performing this while still grieving. Chris Cornell’s music helped me through that time in my life. We all miss these two so much.

A song written by one of my favourite artists being sung, in tribute, to another one of my favourites. I cried so hard the day that Chris left this world. He was such a gift & blessing, I feel so lucky to have been touched by his music.

She looks just like her Dad and has an amazing voice, just like her Dad. She sings beautifully. Would love to hear her more often. My continued thoughts and prayers to her and family. she did not only loose her father, but her daddy too ! - I know how thats feels - now many years after my 50 yrs+ los, I still do not have come to rest with it... it is an ongoing struggle for the rest of life... we never get over it, but maybe, maybe it makes us love life around us more than anything

There is something very drawing and mesmerizing about her voice when she is singing. It's like reaching inside your soul or something. And she did it so naturally. Very moving. I believe she is very talented. Her voice is beautiful to hear. There were many messages I got from her father's music that I can relate to that are haunting and scary only to me though. A lot of unpleasant memories that can be turned over to a higher power I hope she doesn't have her dad's condition. One that must be taken seriously, and must be treated.

Absolutely beautiful performance. Had me in tears. Those two men were such inspirations to so many and their music helped so many people know they aren't alone with their depression. Such a big loss.
Toni is amazing; I hope she stays on this path of singing and making music. What an honor to follow in her Dad's footsteps. Chris is one of my all time favorite vocalists. I got to see them (Soundgarden) one time in TInley Park in Chicago with Nine Inch Nails. I had hoped I'd be seeing many more shows with Chris; little did i know. sigh.
