Pilita has a heart of gold,full of gratitude. She sang in one of the casinos prior to Martial Law,at Fisherman's Wharf along Roxas Blvd. that was managed by my father. Many years after, my father and I were at Ayala in Makati and she recognized my dad. She crossed the lane just to shake hands with my father and to ask , " How are you,Mr.Santos?" My dad's face beamed with happiness all throughout that day!

At height of Pilita's success being in the limelight as a singer/celebrity was a sad life at the backdrop. Nobody knew what happened to her way back then. She's a legend. Her life story can make a good movie. She represented well our country abroad. She could even be more than qualified to be given a National Artist award just like Nora Aunor. Good interview.

NBI baby was true. My mother in law former agent particular overseeing the case of Pilitas. After that, Pilita still remembers the lady agents and even invited them to watch on her shows for free.
Natutuwa ako sa mindset ni Ms. Pilita, always see the brighter side ng mga nangyayari sa buhay mo, good or bad, lagi lang maging positive. Ganyan din ako eh, laging positive lang sa buhay. Mas nakakagaan kaya sa pakiramdam. Lalo na pag may kaaway ka, never ako nagtanim ng sama ng loob sa taong nakasamaan ko ng loob. Kahit nga hindi sila humingi ng tawad, pinapatawad ko. I always move forward, pero hindi ako marunong makalimot kasi life lessons yun eh. Para sa susunod alam mo na.
I love Ms. Pilita! I can relate to what she went through as far as being an abused wife, and your kids being kidnapped by your ex! I went through the same thing. Just like her, I had to leave an abusive relationship for the sake of my children. Nobody should stay in an abusive relationship. We are not trees. We can move, di ba? Life is very good now. I found a wonderful husband who took me around the world! Gave me a life full of love and luxury. This would not have happened if I stayed with my ex! Just remember, believe in yourself. My ex used to tell me, who would take you? You have 3 kids! That's a lot of baggage! I believed in myself, and found this handsome guy, 6'3", blond blue eyes, and rich! We have been married for 37 years now. The secret is pray a lot, believe in yourself and be not afraid.

I was in Pnas til 91 and Pilita was one of my fave singer ... she is so kind and wonderful!!! i only known her hardships after watching yor show Toni... omg i guess the men in her life had no self esteem because of her popularity ...that time they think women should be homemaker and i think these men cant handle that she could make a good living by herself..unbelievable... now i even admire her ..she is an incredible woman 😍😍😍😍🥰🥰😘😘😘😘👏👏👏👏
For me this was one of the very first things I knew about Mamita during her career. A Paraguayan guy who she married and was abused the whole time. It was a sad story, but she is a winner. She is a winner, she is a survivor.
Ganun pala ang istorya ng lovelife ni Pilita. Noong maliit ako ay napapanood ko si Pilita kasama ang kanyang asawa na si Amador. Hindi ko akalain na ganun pala ang ginawa nya kay Pilita. As per Jackie, I should say na nasubaybayan ko ang career nya dahil lagi kaming nanood ng mga tv shows noon sa GMA-7. Meron pa nga kaming plaka ni Pilita at sa likod album cover/case ay ang picture niya kasama sina Jackie at Christopher when they're young and not in showbiz yet. Parang 14 or 15 pa lang yata si Jackie sa photo na yun. She was so pretty. Anyway, what I am trying to say is that I admire how Jackie adores, respects, and loves her Mom so much. She is such an inspiration to listen to. Sana ganun tayong mga anak (lalo na sa mga babae) sa mga Nanay natin. We have to love them. Respect them. Take care of them. Kasi walang pwedeng pumalit sa mga nanay natin. Lastly, advanced happy mother's day sa lahat ng mga nanay especially to you, Toni as well as with Pilita and Jackie.

Being a mom is learning about strengths you didn't know you had. Ms. Pilita Corrales is a beautiful person and mom inside and out. She's a very patient and caring mother to her kids. Her motherly influence says it all. Ms. Jackie looked up to her mother and raised her kids well. I miss my mom since her passing last year. I thank God I become a mom. Pilita is beautiful inside & out. I saw her a number of times at her gigs in Cebu City when I was very young and she’d always come across as a genuine person (kind-hearted & humble). And, her sense of humor was the icing on the cake! -never a dull moment at her shows. I’m always a fan of Ms. Pilita 🫶🏼
I think that's why Mrs. Pilita had experienced abusive relationships because of her kind and forgiving nature. Some people take advantage of that. But as much as it can expose you to such people.. it's so wonderful that people who deserved her kindness and love appreciated it especially her daughter.

My heart breaks for battered woman. Sobrang naiiyak ako kapag narinig or nalaman ko na physically abused ang babae. Pero yung pwede naman sila kumawala pero hindi nila ginagawa, minsan I told myself na maybe deserve nila kasi they tolerate the abuse. If you're physically abused by your partner, trust me, HINDI KA MAHAL at lalong walang respeto sa iyo.

This is a beautiful interview but why almost all the questions were addressed to Jackie? It felt that the interview could’ve happened even without Pilita being present. They were just talking about Pilita. I hope there will be a part 2 or even a solo interview with Pilita. I guess the show is not long enough to accommodate these two awesome people’s stories. I admire Jackie Lou for being so articulate.

this is my reason why i chose to leave my partner the father of my kids, b4 i believed in a complete family for the sake of children but No..I’d rather be a single mother and support my kids than staying in a very toxic and abusive environment with him where even my kids is very much affected as they’re witnessing those tragic moments of my life 😢

You'll never knew how abusive her relationship is despite of her cheerful facade. For an alcoholic person especially for a foreigner, it's really hard to adjust living with such kind of partner. Because that is accompanied with insecurity due to Pilita's fame during her time. And as a Daughter, I also had felt the same pain that Ms. Jackie had witnessed. It's heartbreaking and so scary for the one you loved so dearly being hurt. It made me cry, too. 😢😢😢
I want to see a solo interview with Pilita.Toni gives chance to her guests to shine. Other hosts see themselves as the center and star not their guests.
