Tonto National Monument - Lower Cliff Dwelling 

Hi,
This video takes you to Tonto National Monument located near Roosevelt, Arizona. The monument contains thousands of artifacts, including the Upper and Lower Cliff Dwellings.
The Upper Cliff Dwellings are only accessible through guided tours, available by reservation from November through April.
The Lower Cliff Dwelling is open for self-guided tours from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. from June through August and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from September to May.

Things to Know:
- Standard Day Pass: $10
- America the Beautiful Pass (National Park Pass) also accepted
- Located about 2 hours northeast of Phoenix
- Google Maps recommends taking AZ 87 or US 60 from Phoenix and connect with AZ 188. It also shows that AZ 88 is the shortest mileage (but longest time-wise) and most direct route, however, other reviews and articles state that it turns into a narrow 2 lane gravel road, with tight turns, for many miles and could take up to 2 hours and 45 minutes to drive. I took AZ 87 to 188 and it was beautiful drive.
