Scott and cassie are the best father daughter pair. Tony and Morgan were really sweet but I didn't connect to them the way I did scott and cassie and Tony and Peter. I think these scenes were there to show what a good dad tony is, to bring closure to the insecurities he's had since the Iron man movies. However this relationship was shown from Tony's perspective only, one sided and relationships are a two way stream. Sure morgan said I love you 3000 but that was it. Maybe had they shown Morgan calling Tony while he was at the compound cuz she missed him or showed her asking pepper where daddy is and when he is going to come back during the funeral cuz she doent understand what has happened and she misses him, now that would have elevated the relationship and made us connect with it. As it is when tony died my immediate thought was oh my god poor peter where as logically I should have felt sorry for morgan cuz she is his daughter and she is only four.

Peter being the big brother for her and when Tony dies, Peter fills in the fatherly role. He knew what it was like to lose a father figure so he not only treats Morgan well, he makes sure to keep himself alive so Morgan doesn't lose anyone else
