I remember beating the hell out of this game as a kid. All difficulties on story and classic with all goals done. I was such a loner, lol. I built some killer parks as well.
Just turned 26, for some reason I’ve been reconciling a lot on my times as a kid. Of course, a lot of this led to me thinking back to the fun times I had pulling all nighters with my friends and the video games that helped aid those. This was one of them. Just watching this brought back so many fond memories. This was one of the best games ever made. I played it endlessly and I think played it straight through close to 10 times. That last mission was so damn hard though!
I remember in 3rd or 4th grade trying so many times to build speed and pop the mctwist over but the blades kept getting too close so i just boneless at the corner of the left side to twist over the tail and it still counts lol 😂💯
I remember wanting to beat dudes ass for stealing my footage and getting me kicked of the pro team 😂 some good times. He put up through a bunch of Bs the whole story
super nostalgic for this game too, made me like all sorts of different music and the story was great. Just had such an impact on my life, glad to see others who feel the same :)
For those of you who aren't from Jersey good ol Headstone Harry always helps everyone out. Super sweet old man. I don't know how he does it with such a depressing job.
I still to this day remember the unreal excitement I had the first time I opened this game and booted to this story. I miss when games were worth getting stoked about.
Cool, i never played the story but i played co-op with a friend at the time just skateboarding and having fun. I enjoyed this game so much i need to buy this one i have the 2nd one but I'll get this eventually.
Best TH game ever. I was like 8-9 years old back in 03. This game was amazing sick graphics also back then man. This game brings me back so many memories early 2000s. I’m about to be 25 soon...😒
I feel you bro! I played the heck outta this thing as a kid. I got it late when I was like 6 years old in 2005. Never beat it, as the tricks got too hard for my 6 year old self to handle once it got to Hawaii, but I still put so many hours into this game. Im gonna be 21 soon.
8:48 Chad Muska was always free spirited "hey what's up man that was a sick line you had back there! And we cant forget "Damn That's Some Ghetto Ride You Rollin Tho" 😂🔥💯
The MC's voice actor is heavily underrated for why people love Underground 1 so much. His voice is so authentic and he doesn't just let all the NPCs do the talking for him.
Same here. Unfortunately you probably won't be able to get off your board, revert or do a bunch of other things.. which makes no sense to remaster a game with old controls
Remember using my pocket money to buy this when I was like 15. I didn't quite have enough for the game and the guy in the shop sold me the copied version of the game for £10. Played like a dream! 😁
this on ps2, mountain dew and doritos, and an extension cord ran from grams house to the shed out back. me my bro and my cousin played almost every night one summer. damn good times i remember it like it was yesterday
This game is my childhood, I love every second playing this game as a kid, it inspired me to dress like a skater and the soundtrack is amazing, this game is how I got started listening to Rise Against
"Home sweet home, what a dum-" (CJ): "Grove Street, home..." "Woah! Wha- Who the hell are you!?" (Smoke): "Yo CJ! You pick the wrong game fool!" (CJ): "Aw shit, here we go again..."
See, nowadays you won't get characters using words like "Gimped" or this same type of emotion from a game like you did back then. The world's less tolerant nowadays.
I miss this game so much I might get this game for my birthday I wish we go back to the past and play Tony hawk underground none stop this game is the best and funny in the good way
I'm just now realizing how crazy this game's story and this level specifically were. You're a teenager trying to get recognized as a pro skater in your hometown; forced to leave because your friend burned down the drug gang's car; have to save him with the help of your street racing friends by literally ramming the car over in a train station, and THEN escape on the train. Lol wtf was this game on?
I'm still shocked 2003 set the bar for skateboarding video games and in my opinion nobodies even touched this. THUG2 just avoided outdoing themselves all together and copied jackass into a video game.
