In this mini-series we build, fly and review this laser cut sailplane kit from Tony Ray. The model is 1/6 scale, has a span of 3 metres (112"), and is designed for 4 to 6 channel RC. The model can be built for slope soaring, for aerotow, thermal soaring, or as a motor glider with the inclusion of a brushless motor.
In Part 5 we conduct the maiden flight from Pendle Hill in Lancashire (0:53), and then go on to some further flight testing from some flat field aerotowing behind our EFlite Draco RC tug (3:38). In addition to testing the flight performance, we wrap the series up with our thoughts and opinions about the kit.
