In this mini-series we build, fly and review this laser cut sailplane kit from Tony Ray. The model is 1/6 scale, has a span of 3 metres (112"), and is designed for 4 to 6 channel RC. The model can be built for slope soaring, for aerotow, thermal soaring, or as a motor glider with the inclusion of a brushless motor.
In Part 1 we build the tail surfaces. This is a good warm up as these parts are representative of how the whole airframe goes together.
