Yes he did. Sorry took so long to reply. I've been working late and my car broke down. But the weight of the van was to much for the suspension. So he had to put it in the shop to get leaf springs installed. Which wouldn't be done in time for Sundown show. But he will have it done soon. And that was him in white van. I have video's he sent me that I will be editing this weekend

Construction grade screws are good too with the torq head.

It'll be a lot of movement/force for sure. I've had heads pop off drywall screws but a lot of the load is going to be gravity on the recess he cut out. I still would've gone another route to be safe tho. I typically use M5 cap head wood screws at the bare minimum but they're not the easiest to find. Luckily I have a fastener shop down the road who sells to contractors, they have (or can get) just about anything you can imagine.

Ya I think at the least use the structural grade screws that they have nowdays with the torque heads like brand Simpson grk and spax?

It’s the box design just because you put a lot of subwoofers. Don’t mean it’s gonna sound good. I can put a fan in my car and it’s gonna blow air.
