Whats hilarious is evike just posted them up, and someone has already commented kn them asking 'can you send on to the Philippines for free? Please i have no money'
must've been a kid, guess he really wanted to have one. kinda funny but also really understandable. for the record though, since childhood i already knew that nothing is free. and i never actually begged anyone for anything for free. the kid's filipino and its kinda common for fil kids to go on the internet and ask for literally anything for free. and that goes to online games with e-currency. jesus do they get toxic.
if he does want one, a few units of the umarex 416A5 gbb & aeg have landed in the ph. probably his parents wouldn't even think of getting him one once they see the hefty price tag lol.
I know it’s straight outta the box but adjusting the motor is something I’ve had to do to all of my guns and my friends guns to reduce the whine. That said, it may not completely eliminate it but it’s better than nothing. It’s definitely a con though if it doesn’t get quieter after adjustment.
@@DevinGhillieAirsoft Avalons also didn't have to be completely redesigned ,other than the rail it's pretty basic ,but the 416 needed new rail ,barrel ,gas block ,castle nut ,buffer tube ,stock, pistol grip, receiver that costs a lot of money to do
StickmanAirsoft PH Yeah, this is pretty much how Umarex does their stuff. Best example: taking the roughly $70-90 USD VFC Glocks (namely the 17 Gen 3 and 4, 19 Gen 3, and 42), and pricing them at anywhere from $150 to $180. Well over double their original prices for the sake of trademarks. It’s ridiculous. I used to want a VFC Glock 42 due to its size, since it’d probably be fun to own one, but now I’ve lost all interest.
That was a good honest and informative review. Like how you mentioned limited compartment space for your batteries, on Full Auto the grouping look really tight. Maybe in the future you can do a comparison video with some other higher end rifles see how it Stacks Up.👍😊🤘
Every review I have ever seen for this or the original version 416 says you can’t wind the mag but I can say you definitely can. Just slide the bottom plate towards the rear of the magazine, you can then take it off and bam, winding wheel. While I don’t recommend doing it in the field it’s useful if you don’t wanna bring a winding tool or forgot one. That being said, I have the original 416 purchased in 2013 but I’m assuming these are shipping with the same mags.
Wow that H&K416A5 looks Beautiful and Gorgeous, sounds like the semi need a little more fix,I would take it back and give them a letter to tell them that Semi should be a little fix.
Buyers Beware: the walls of the buffertube/thickness of the buffertube/ or inner diameter of the buffertube is so THIN that the buffertube is likely to snap at the threaded part near the castle nut. VFC has had a history of snapped buffertube due to making the inner diameter to thin at the threads near the castle but. I can confirm this as I have had this exact rifle and this happens to me on the first day. ALSO: WHEN ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE THE ORANGE FLASH HIDER, know that if you where untorque the flash hider without using a blow torch, the flash hider will just continue to rotate without even unscrewing from the gun. That is because the section of barrel between the gas block and the flash hider is its own separate piece. I’d recommend taking the hand-guard off and then taking of the entire barrel and placing it in the oven for 20 minutes if no blow torch is around. Then proceed.
Don't forget to mention that there is a set screw that you need to remove on the flash hider also. I used a torch and the flash hider came off effortlessly.
I always wanted a HK 416 AEG. Haven't played in months...the developing crisis in South Africa has had me rather look at stacking up on medical supplies.
Yip as they say a Shithole. More violent then some war zones! Regards firearms it has come out yesterday that shortly our government wants to prevent people owning a firearm for self defense. New legislation is on the cards. I shit you not! We all smell a violent government crack down and a civil war more and more as the days pass. As they say no atheists in foxholes
Taking MINE to the chrono its shooting 418.8 and 419.8 fps close to the 420 max and 26 rps at the field it's pretty good and the semi doesn't have any problems personally. and the gun is fully stock and sturdy.
I got my VFC 416A5 in April and i can definetly recommend it. BUT i did change the motor because the stock motor was getting a bit too warm for my taste and i built in another mosfet to get more space for batteries. I am running an ASCU now which also makes the shooting feel mkore crisp and after firing several thouand shots it still runs like a champ. So with a few Upgrades its really a nice gun. Only negative point is the price tag (around 450 Euros in germany + Upgrades). The gun has the best body ive got my hands on so far.
The price point now days is great i just ordered one for 124$ cant wa8t itll make a nice starter set up for a rookie will be running this and co2 sig Sauer sp2022 Swiss arms as side arm just now getting into airsoft little late to thw game
I completely forgot about this channel last time i watched was like 3 years ago when i still played airsoft when you signed my gun at the extreme airsoft end of the year event
My buddies Avalon constantly shoots in full auto while the selector is on semi. It's really a problem. As another dude said, it's the shitty tappett plate
Hey Jet, great review, but do you think it's worth the price tag? $450 seems pretty high for a gun that isn't exactly unique or doing anything different.
It seems like you could get a gun in the VFC Avalon platform and it would be just as good if not getter than this gun. I have an Avalon Saber Carbine and it doesn't sound nearly as wheezy/whistle as much as this 416A5
Jacob, I can only tell you what I've heard about Krytac brand airsoft rifles, which is that they're really high quality internally, but they have a fail point externally, near the fire selector switch/rear sling mount. I've also heard the krytac brand uses a few proprietary internal pieces, this means you can't replace them with standard equipment. V2 is the name of the standard gearbox, found in Tokyo Marui, VFC, and some other M4/M16 style airsoft rifles. Do a google image of "krycrack" or "krytac crack". Or you can search on the airsoft subreddit at reddit.com. Using the search feature on that subreddit could be a great resource. So, I the short answer is the lvoa does compare to the VFC Avalon, but it's a more fragile airsoft rifle.
@@jacobtolar6608 Avalon's have far better internals so this will be better than the lvoa as well as for the krytac reciever crack I've only ever seen that once in person... but I have not ever seen that with the Avalon's
You could throw away the 416 mag or you could always do a small giveaway for it, if your really not gonna use it that is. Great video as always by the way very helpful and informative.
Solid looking gun but damn that orange tip is making me mad haha love your vids keep it up i got my ssg24 few days ago maybe you can make a movie of the ssg24 again cheers m8
@Char Aznable the externals are awsome but the internals are gonna fuck up, They did this thing where only a tiny ring is whats controlling your cutoff lever. In fact their mp5 is worse. They just made their own system inside it and it has the retarded ring inside it.
I hate the way it sounds. Doesn't sound as crisp as a lot of the newer Airsoft guns nowadays. Though, maybe I'm just spoiled by my CM16 SRXL... EDIT: My god, people, it's clearly sarcasm.
To Be Honest, if Evike sell cheaper EoTechs I can make a badass HK416 loadout I use in BF4 But EoTech that Evike sells cost twice more than average airsoft rifle's price
What kind of spring is in there? M120, M110, M100? The reason I ask is I have this coming in the mail for an event in May. The chrono restrictions are 1.49 joules with .32 gram BBs, im worried this rifle will be too hot of the box so I want to get another spring coming. I need a point of reference so I know what spring size to buy to get this rifle below specs if needed. Please help!
Did you have any issues running it with the 11.1v ? I've heard recommendations to just use a 7.4v lipo. Frankly I'd rather run the 11.1 but don't want to fry any circuits
protected motors (which this has) take only as much power as they need. thus, it's almost virtually impossible to overload a motor. it's actually more harmful to underpower a motor by not using a strong enough batteries
Never understood the umarex hype when beauties like the Tokyo Marui next gen recoil shock 416 exist! The TM is better than the VFC on every aspect. I have owned both VFC/Umarex 416 and m27 both aeg and gbb, and the TM ngrs 416 and m4 and by a mile the TM owns.
Ethan Strunk -it has the same quality full metal exterior, with the same markings. -Fully functioning recoil system with good kick and a real thumping sound. -Bolt lock system and after last bullet fired it will lock up so you need to release the bolt for it to shoot again, and after every empty magazine. -One of the best hop-ups on the market comes stock in all TM’s, and even though it has low fps it still outshoots lots of pimped AEG’s. Its an absolute lazerbeam. -quality internals which needs little to no maintenance, and if left stock will last for manymany years w/o anything breaking. If i were to start playing AS again i would buy nothing but Tokyo Marui’s for AEG.
I already have a aeg but it’s getting a little old and blah sooo should I get this as my main rifle ???? I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I just now noticed that you use this gun a good bit
Yes one is platstic and is meant to play in the backyard which is the $100 one, and the $550-455 is the one meant for airsoft and have a vfc Avalon's gearbox which is a top line gearbox, and expect a range from 150-250 feet with properly ajusted hop up and quality bbs.
Bikes N' Guns lct is known for aks and G3’s, for example, you wouldn’t buy a krytac gbbr because they don’t make them, in the same way, lct is known for a certain product, all other kinds of guns from them are gambles
