In this video I show you what my preferred chemical guys products are. This is by no means a be all end-all of chemical Guys products, but merely something to help you get started in understanding the sea of products that they offer.
I’m the same way, the actual chemical guys products I’ve used have worked well but I think if they didn’t have 5 things that supposedly do the same thing, they are stealing their own business and instead of researching a complete new product for the same purpose , spend that time and money into making an existing product perform even better
I've used many of "Chemistry Set Boys" products, but with the exception of Mr. Pink and VRP, Ive switched to other better and more cost effective products from Adams, Maxshine and TW Hybrids.
after Streak Free glass cleaner, use CG HydroView Ceramic for glass. gives a GREAT slick surface and helps greatly when raining water just rolls off the windshield and also helps with the wiper blades wiping super smooth!
Hey, friend. Great video! You can dilute Nonsense with that bottle till full and still maintain strength! Save your empty bottles bc one bottle makes 2 diluted 50% with water. Same with Leather Cleaner! V.R.P. can be diluted 50% to become a spray shine similar to Silk Shine if you have an additional spray top! Also if you use a pressure washer, I kindly ask you to let me know how you like Sticky Snowball Car Soap! I promise you will love it, cross my heart. Cheers!
Too many of their products do virtually the same thing. While their products seem cost effective, by the time that you add up all of the stuff that they recommend to do a particular job, you're better off buying another brand. And their spray heads are terrible. You would be better off with Adams, MaxShine, Griot's, Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions, etc.
Agreed. That's why you got to know when to draw the line and not buy 5 products to do 5 different things when it's most likely that one product will do all five things. I'm still convinced that they use the same product in different bottles just to increase the range of products on offer.
Yeah they lost me with too many overlapping products. Their brand image is a big money grab now. Their stuff is good, but so many as-good competitors with more cohesive and simple product lines…for less money.
im a new car owner within the last 2 months and have already spent 300+ on chemical guy products, they do a good job with marketing bc it makes me feel like I need them all. after im done using them ill prob move on to another brand tht doesnt have u buying up everything lol. any suggestions? iv heard mcguires is really good
Was using them the last three years but am backing off. Very expensive compared to ther products. I've been watching Project Farm and he's turned me on to better stuff
I use inner clean, total interior cleaner, all clean all purpose cleaner (they sent this to me on accident) leather cleaner, leather conditioner, total tire extract, Diablo wheel cleaner, sticky wheel citrus cleaner (like it better than Diablo) tire kicker tire shine, bug and tar remover, citrus wash and gloss, honeydew snow foam, speed wipe, butter wet wax, or blazin banana. In that order.
For the interior Litorange Car Detailing Brush... www.amazon.ca/dp/B09LCDHNW3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share For the exterior Chemical Guys ACC_S90 Boar’s Hair Detailing Brush a.co/d/bFNPLV9
@@JGisMe2013 for something store bought. I'd go with Turtle Wax over Chemical Guys all day every day. All their new stuff is so much better than anything CG.
@@stvcrgy55 thanks for clarifying but what specific products from the brands you mentioned if you don't mind I'm about to buy a 05 clk convertible and looking for products ..thank you
@@walteroverton0215 Individually most of their products are great. What is BS is how they try to cross promote their products into making you believe that you need 2 or 3 products to make everything work. An example is VRP. It is a good product and works, it doesn't need the extra cleaners they claim you need to use to help it adhere to the surface. On both exterior and interior, I've used it using their steps, and also just using a damp cloth to clean the surface. The life of the product is the same.
CG is hoping that we’re mostly their Useful Idiots throwing away our hard earned money, seriously! I use Dawn dishwashing for my tyres and wheels, works very well. I use Armour exterior car shampoo and it does the job for 30 years without any issue. Fellas, let’s be sensible with our hard earned money. Sure a couple of things by CG is worthwhile but I found other brands work well maybe I will need to apply the ceramic coating a couple more times a year rather than once in 12 months.
Can you make me a video on waxing? whether you apply the sealant or carnauba before or after How many creams or sprays do you use? Please I really can't decide.
