Took My 2018 Shelby GT350 to Barber with new ARH's and a new Tune. Runs Great and Sounds Amazing!!

Took my 2018 Shelby GT350 to Barber Motorsports Park to run with Chin Track Days. I installed new American Racing Headers and full exhaust with a new tune. The car is an animal now and sounds amazing putting down 519 hp to the tires on a Mustang Dyno. Barber is an incredible facility and track and I got to spend some time with an old college friend Mr. Graham Smith! He was kind enough to come out and see me. I'll be back for sure! Enjoy!!

Oh she sounds puuurrrrdy!! ❤ Tell your passenger its quite common to get motion sickness. Both times I've taken a copilot ended the same way. It happens!

That's right it sure does. Riding shotgun on track is more difficult than driving for sure. He did great!!

Car sounds amazing. That's been my dream exhaust setup ever since I first heard it, just haven't been able to bring myself to pull the trigger on it while I still have warranty.

I've got VIR with NASA next week, Barber with Rezoom Motorsports in mid November and Road ATL with Chin the weekend right after Thanksgiving. I've never done VIR. I'm pumped about that one. 6 hour drive for me but that's ok. It'll be worth it.

Hi, love watching your videos! Were you running with your exhaust completely open with the headers at Barber? You didn't get flagged? Asking because I've always hesitated signing up for Barber because I was afraid to get black flagged for sound after making the trip there.. I unfortunately don't have an active exhaust on my GT with Borla Ataks

I did not get Black flagged for being too loud and my car is loud. I have a friend that has a super loud GT and he did not get black flagged either. I think you would be ok!

Nice! Car sounds great. What did it dump stock? Does it having any braking issues with the additional power over stock?

Stock she was at 526 hp to the crank, now she's right at 600 hp to the crank or 520 hp to the tires with the headers and tune. I got a surprise coming the first of August, buddy! I purchased a Whipple SC 3 weeks ago, and it's due in sometime the first part of August. I'm slated to do VIR on August 7th & 8th with Track Advantage, but I doubt I'll have it installed by then. Maybe I'll get lucky, and it will come in sooner. Appreciate ya, brother!! 👊🏻

It's through the Garmin Catalyst. Check out some videos on it on RU-vid. It's an amazing piece of equipment.

Yes sir I sure do. Jake is an excellent coach in my opinion. He coaches in a very simple manner that's easy to understand and to apply on track. I've been working on and off with Jake since 2018.
