Earlier this year, my Land Rover Discovery decided it want to finally start leaking oil after a year of ownership. This wasn't a slow drip either, it was coming out quickly! Since it was still really cold out and I don't have a good place to work on it at my place yet, I had to take her into the shop...
What started out being anywhere from $400-$1200, quickly turned into $2200 when they noticed some other things that needed to be replaced after taking a bunch of parts off of her.
Really hate not being able to work on my own cars. You save so much money! She's going to need new brakes soon and thankfully I can do that one myself.
