Keep up the content dude. The industrial mechanics and maintenance guys out here are essential workers and more people should see what the trades all about
You probably dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother for the last couple of weeks xD
Nice layout! Mine was similar but with a few more "custom made tools." I sold it to a young apprentice Millwright a couple of years after I retired. He got the tried and true tools he would need at a good price and I got to buy a beer cooler and lawn chair for watching the sunsets! (Back and knees are shot!)
Nice tool box tour. I Agree with the rest of the comments, industrial mechanic tool box tours are scarce. I am a industrial maintenance mechanic myself here in southern California. We produce large plastic sheets and roll stocks. I enjoy working with industrial motor controls, hydraulic pumps, pneumatic lines and temperature controls. We need more industrial mechanic tool box tours. Maybe I'll make one soon .Again great video and thanks for the upload 💪🛠️🔧🔨🔩
Nice show. I don’t have so many stuffs in my toolbox so I have room for all my personal protective equipment. Say, apron, goggles, face shield, and all kinds of gloves such as long rubber gloves, heavy duty gloves, electrician’s insulation gloves and gloves to protect them.
I'm a factory mechanic too and what you have is pretty similar to mine, except we have a dedicated electrician so I rarely have to delve into that side of things. One thing I have in my box that I noticed missing from yours are gear pullers and pitch gauges, but I'm assuming that's something that your company provides. Some other stuff I did not see (but you may not have a use for in your particular plant)...rivet tool, thread files, wire rope cutters and crimpers.
very good start Sir. keep doing what your doing. I was fortunate enough to have a lathe and mill in the shop I worked out of . We had allen bradley PLC.... ok but .. ok .
Nice roll cabinet loaded.👍 For me, I have my "Carrier" stationery 99.9 percent. But i'm mobile at my job with my "Destroyer" bag (husky) riding around for dispatch. And I have my "Corvette" pouch that I use mostly on dispatch for simple calls👋😄😄👍👍🤗 So I have alot of repeated tools which I find an advantage when other techs need to borrow...😂
Nice set of tools man I love that you attached those 2 boxes together like that. Must be handy as all hell. Sure beats buying the aircraft carrier sized ones and paying that amount of money on one. Love the heavy duty stuff you have
Knew as soon as you opened that drawer with the allen sockets you were an " Industrial Mechanic ". You didn"t give us any clue as to where or what kind of plant you work at. What type of PLCs do you work on ? Thanks for the vid and keep them coming. Use to be a IM but don't work anymore, miss the job so give me something to look at. The hydraulic wrench you showed, what size is it ? Got a 1 1/4 that needs a good home, let me know.
michael newcomb I work in a plastic blow molding facility( food grade) most of the PLC's here are Allen Bradley. That socket is a 11/4" ... I started when I was younger as a auto mechanic but living in Wisconsin it was not fun. Lots of rust!! what kind of machines did you work on?
I worked in four brake factories. Two that made brake shoes, one that made brake bloc, one that made brake pads. We had ovens, grinders, molding machines, preforms, riveters, blast cabinets, ink jets and shrink wrap machines. Also worked at a CVS distribution center and all we had was 8 miles of conveyor. Went out in 2014 on disability and miss it everyday. Keep the videos coming so I can work from home. Thanks
Me to as auto mechanic my first mentor was from a plastic connector plant. I don't mind cars but I've decided that I have to like the owner and the car to work on it and the pay was werd for my family and the dead lines that went with it and so far this career has treated me the best
How did you get hurt if at work how so ? Asking as a learning lesson of what not to do not as a troll. Ps. To all the people that have helped along the way as mentors for work thank you so much I'm saying this because some of it I didn't get the chance to and or thought I'd get more time to
I'm an industrial mecanic tech in plastic bottles facilitie !!! Is there some videos from other industrial mecanic tech?? It seem theres much video from hvac tech than industrial tech!!! Cheers!!!
Yes I was an Electromechanical Tech when I made this video. I have since become the Dept. Manager. Always looking for good Techs in Wisconsin area. Wrench Everyday!
@@SethBergile well congratulation for the promotion 👏 This is exactly what I thought when I watched the video, because I, too, are in the same specialty as you, the mechanical tools we need more than twice as many electrical tools.
I would appreciate if you could make a video and share with us your experiance as a technician, how you manage your tools, the methodologie you work with, stuff like that. Thank you.
I have another video of the box I got after this one. It's a nice unit. I sold it now and the box in this video is now in my shop at home. Thanks for watching!
Very cool how you made this tool box. I notice you have stickers on your sockets how are they an how they holding up. Thanks for the tour . If you like toolbox tours checkout my channel
John Gibson ...yes it's a 41" and 27" together.. I made the frame and added softer casters for rolling around on our crappy floor. the stickers I got on eBay for like $5 for 60 of them they have been on for 5 years with daily use. Thanks I will check out your tour.. good day
junior amaya Usally you start as a setup tech and work you're way up from there, i worked in many plants and rarely seen a box this nice, where i work now a tool bag is all that is needed my box now sadly collects dust
Go to tech school and do an electrical course and get certified that will at least get your foot in the door most places...refrigeration is a plus too.
