Thank you for making this! I've always loved Toons since I was a kid; and thanks to you, I've been able to revive and successfully play my Toon Deck. To me toons are more of a rogue deck mostly because they don't have enough support cards like the other decks to compete with honestly you can probably take toons to locals but that's my opinion

I have a question I would really appreciate if you could answer. Toon Dark Magician Girl's effect it says: "This card gains 300 ATK for every "Dark Magician" or "Magician of Black Chaos" in either player's Graveyard." Does that include Toon Dark Magician?? If so, then does Toon Dark Magician count as "Dark Magician" thereby allowing you create Red-Eyes Dragoon with Toons??
Unfortunately the answer to both your questions is no, they don't count as red eyes black dragon or Dark Magician. Dark Magician girl also doesn't gain attack either unless they you have the original dark magician or a card that states "this cards name is also treated as Dark Magician".
I feel like it's worth it to play pot of avarice even though I know it's kind of a brick to draw anytime other than later into the game and even then odds are cards like Kingdom Banish it. Thoughts?
I've been testing toons, Avarice is quite bad in the deck honestly, with toons you wanna go for the Turn 2 and OTK, so Pot of Extravagance is definitely needed.
Why don't you play 3 x Toon Gemini Elf over Toon Mermaid? Sure Mermaid has the Special Summon effect but Gemini Elf is a good beat stick for attacking directly with, even better with Toon Rollback AND can discard cards from your opponents hand.
@@ahero3945 "Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing Toon monsters from your hand or field, whose total Levels equal 8 or more." this means you can tribute as many or as few toons you want. just has to equal 8stars or more.
Bro i got 10 ads in this video, all hypercasual game ones who arent too pleasing to watch, mostly 2 in a row. I couldnt enjoy watching this, i tried really hard tho
Sorry about that, not all ads are video ads. Some are just pop ups at the bottom of the screen or just ones that pop up on the side of the video. I don't understand why you got that many video ads, that is weird.
You go first, or you play around them. Side dark ruler or lose because ada is a tier 0.5 deck. Altergeist is gonna lose to this if they don't open infinite impermanence and faker and even then I'll already be set up.
The decks he builds are more for casual play. Realistically, "playing" against meta decks is almost pointless because then you're clogging your deck with hand traps, cbtg, and cards that don't necessarily facilitate your deck because the meta is focused around big blowout cards nowadays.
Honestly, playing an in-archetype deck or just customizing your deck to be your own is the only way to truly enjoy the game. A lot of players will admit, they're not playing exactly what they want half the time because of the meta.
I have such mixed opinions of the Toons. It's by far my favorite theme in Yu-gi-oh, ever since I saw it as a kid when Pegasus used them in the show I've just loved the idea. But I really dislike how they play, just attacking directly. It's dreadfully boring to play against them
Because not 99% of people know the cards. That simply isn't true. People come to my profiles to understand the decks and hear how the card interactions work. They could "search it up" or they could listen to me which is why I have my channel.
