Tooth prep with Rubber dam 

Ever wondered how to do a tooth prep under Rubber dam isolation . This is one of my early attempts to prepare a 14 with rubberdam isolation . What i have learnt
1. Use a thick gauge Rubber dam sheet ( preferably non latex )
2. Use a electric handpiece in slow speed (10000 to 30000 rpm) with a red ring diamond bur when working close to the rubber dam sheet .
3. you can use tissue retraction clamps such as B4 or a modified B5 Brinker clamps for additional gingival retraction
4. in the case of tight contacts open the contacts before placing the rubberdam.
