Dawn dish soap with the brushes works just as fine. You can use non brand shoe brushes, dawn dish soap, liquid laundry detergent, and a generic sneaker bag and achieve the same results. Pretty packaging and cool videos. Products do work but overpriced, great for all these new sneakerheads who dont know any better.

My Zebras were pretty dirty on the outsole because I bought them new. Dad was skeptical why I bought the Reshovn8r signature kit, when I could “just use dish soap and any brush”. Tried to clean one with the dish soap and the other with the Reshoevn8r kit. This kit works WAYYY better than any other soap. The brushes are also very deluxe. They fit your hand well and are very very gentle on the upper.

Use a good detergent with some coconut oil and fine / medium bristle brush. Then use camp gear spray silicone or something similar like nikwax. Hikers have had gear care down long before sneaker heads.

I'm using a liquid hand soap, classic shoe brush for any color, wooden shoe trees from supermarket and microfiber cloth from supermarket and it works better than toothbrush and dish soap

Exactly if you just buy the 3 brush set but use only dishsoap and then wash them with any clothes detergent they would look the same as using reshoevenator soaps

The dishwashing liquid method would work if you’d get a shoe tree and proper brushes, he’s only talking point was how much surface volume the toothbrush covers and tedious time it takes, and I think it also depends on the material, the material on his shoe would be challenging to clean with a toothbrush

You're absolutely right. Reshoevn8r products are outrageously priced. I own similar brushes for half the price and I use Tide detergent mixed with dish soap, baking soda and water to clean just about any shoe. Works perfect.

But first of all sorry if my english is messed up :) - I want to ask, why does reshoevn8r clean it starting from upper? if from the upper first then to the outsole later the dirt from the outsole will fade to the upper, it will work 2 times and also why only use 1 bowl for cleaning and cleaning the brush, my advice is just use 2 bowls, 1 for cleaner and 1 for cleaning the brush.

I use a hard tooth brush for midsoles and a soft for stubborn areas. But I always start with the reshov8ner brushes before hand.

I remember cleaning my shoes with laundry detergent and one of those palm sized brushes you either use to those small bathroom scrubber brushes and the snail scrubber brush as a kid. When shoes could handle the hand washing and water.

You should use a two container method so the solution water doesn't get so dirty and you can use it longer....kinda like detailers clean cars...they use a two bucket method. Once you need more solution dip the brush into the just water container and let the dirt come off the brush then dip it in the solution again.

Same way you'd clean any other light colored 350. Pre treat them with our brushes and solution, then use our laundry system to put them into the washing machine.

What kind of settings and temperature do you use for the machine wash? Do you use an bag with or without the shoe tree?

We use the normal cycle with cold water and we use our Sneaker Laundry Bag and leave our Shoe Tree in the shoe.

You do not have to remove the innersole. You can use it on your normal/ standard wash settings. It does not have to be delicate or handwash.

Bro, dishwasher soap with a bigger brush definitely will do the same job. You’re focusing on the toothbrush size. Dishwasher soap bottle will last one year at 80% less the price of your product.

I would try our sneaker wipes first, but if you get the essential cleaning kit you can use the medium brush and cleaning solution!

I clean my shoes way different than this! I wet my shoes first then I start adding soap when I’m gonna start scrubbing them. If I see my shoes dirty from the inside, I’ll clean them from the inside first then I’ll start scrubbing them from the outside, I’ll also throw them in the washer, and they come out looking new!

Without using our products, not only would the shoes not have come out as clean, they could've gotten damaged by just putting them into the washing machine without our shoe tree and laundry bag.

Well I noticed he use only one type of toothbrush what if we use 3 different types as the Shoeven8r bristles brushes? Toothbrushes comes with some soft and stiff brushes so it could work. And you can use any laundry detergent to wash your shoes intesd of dishwasher soap.

The solution is very heavily concentrated, you do not need much. Our 4oz bottle alone will clean 30-40 pairs of shoes. The 16oz will clean 100-160.

Why use dish soap tho? Why not use laundry soap? Especially since it’s fabric. Also for white fabric shoes, why not add a lil bleach? I’m genuinely asking not trying to troll. Wouldn’t that be a more fair comparison test? Cuz that’s what I’ve been using for a long time. Laundry detergent plus some bleach if white fabric. Coupled with a shoe brush or some sort of stiff bristled brush, I got my shoes clean quite nicely.

We did it this way because over the years this is how people have told us they clean their shoes. With just dish soap and a tooth brush so we wanted to put exactly that to the test.
