The Town is a great movie, Heat on the other hand is a legendary movie, great story and arks, incredible performances, awesome tension build up and amazing cinematography. Heat should be number 1.

Heat is ok but for me I think the movie is way too long..like what is it 3 hours almost? In that time they don't really perform too many robberies I find most of the movie is just filled with long dialog and filled stuff that really doesn't need to be in the movie

Nah! "The Town" wasn't that good. I'm from Boston. A lot of things in the movie just didn't make sense. Such as two guys like that hanging up in a Harvard Square. The whole bit with the girl made no sense at all.

GTA5 heist are all ready a bunch movies. The jewel heist is from beverly hills cops 3(i think) the fib heist is from mission impossible. the Union Depository is from Die hard with a vengeance. Blitz play is from heat. The paleto bay is the only one that isn't grom a movie but from a real heist.

Heat is the archetype bank robbery movie. It sets the standard and is the greatest in the genre. It also inspired the Payday games by Overkill. Plus Al Pacino and Robery De Niro. AL FUCKING PACINO!

Januk That's pretty much heat. They got the escape missions, the mask, the hostage ties, the lines, even many mission ideas like armoured transport. Payday 2 is basically Heat in a video game.

Not gonna lie, i've never seen Heat. I've heard great things about it. But The Town takes a really original spin on bank robbery, i just really like the concept... and Ben Affleck. Most underrated man in Hollywood.

Heat 1995 should have been number one. It’s so real it’s like you’re watching innocent people die right in front of your very own eyes. I have never watched a scene like that ever. You are on the edge of your seat. This movie is in my top three because it’s literally like you are there in those extremely intense scenes. But hey, I’m just glad you put it in!

Although I really enjoyed The Town and Dog Day it is pretty hard to beat Heat. That movie gave me a whole new level of appreciation for Michael Mann and his style of directing.

Heat is one of the best films I've seen... Should have been number one for sure. Just goes to show critics will always be the same - they would rather go for what was good at the time rather than something more modern that is greater in everything except age. Jimi Hendrix will always be voted number 1 electric guitarist of all time... I love Hendrix but he so clearly isn't. Anyone that has listened to Joe Satriani or Jeff Beck knows that. It's about being "the first" with critics, not necessarily "the best."
