That very first 44 pistol location. Turn the pump off, open the panel box cover, and out pops 3 boxes of caps. Really helpful in the beginning of the game.
"Finding ammo for it can be difficult" is a bit of an understatement. I got the .44 and found exactly ONE vendor in the entire game who sold the ammo - the lady with the dog near Fairline Hill Estates. Apparently the problem was me being too low level for them to sell the ammo. Makes an early weapon pretty useless when you have no ammo.
True. I made the Ammo factory thinking I can make .44 rounds, but 'Gun Nut' rank 3 is required. And Rank 3 of GN has a minimum Level 25 requirement... I think the Scrounger perk is a decent way to get the ammo at low levels. But it comes down to luck..
@@codyt.346 Not really, because the Scrounger perk does not work for 44 ammo until you're level 20-something. In my gunslinger run, I used a pipe revolver until I could find/buy 44 ammo in large enough quantities.

I got Fallout 4 yesterday and I stumbled across a Fat Man in an underground shelter hidden within a church southwest from sanctuary. I was very excited to say the least.😁
Hey If you go to diamond city and talk to Arturo Who sells weapons and that stuff he sells the Big Boy which is a fat man that shoots 2 mini nukes for the price of one
Soon as I start a character I start saving up for 'Spray and Pray' from Cricket and mostly use that through the game as getting commando and demolition Expert Perks makes it the best gun in my opinion and other friends agree with me. By making poisoned caltrops out of the steel items I find, I buy just about every special gun in the game, its my way of using the caps if I am ignoring Prestons existence Lol.

I know this video is like 2 years old or whatever but SNICKERSNEE my man! Going through your back catalogue for Fallout content has been very enjoyable
I’m a few years late (just became a fallout fan less than a week ago) but Snickersnee thanks puma. I subscribed for borderlands but every time I get a new game you’ve seemingly already covered it. Thanks a bunch
Does anyone else not enjoy power armor? I like and respect it, but I don't want to walk around in it. 3 I wore mainly Chinese Stealth armor, New Vegas I wore ranger gear and the elite riot gear, and 4 I went through various armors but ended up sticking with the vault suit with leather armor over it with all the upgrades... Made fights a bitch at times but enjoyed the simplicity of the outfit.
There is a railway rifle that spawns in bedford station (following the tracks south from tenpines bluff), in one of the train cars; not sure if the car with the dead drop or the other with the skeleton and sleeping bag. Its very easy to miss, as it blends really well with the rusty floor, someone just having a quick look will certainly miss it. There are also some spikes, which i think respawn.
While I know that this is an old video, there is a very easy, very early, guaranteed Combat Rifle. On the road between Covenant and the hospital, one of the mercenary corpses has a completely unmodified Short Combat Rifle. Its become a staple for my survival sniper, and I can confirm that I have never had it fail to spawn, at any level, on any playthrough.
I hate how people do that. A million views. Helped out that many people and so many of them don't even stop to say thank you or leave a like at least. Thanks for the help man.
@@alexanderburrell5457 I got not one but two explosive miniguns obviously after running a lot because they weren't super mutants no they were legendary raiders with power armour
Great overall info, for the beginners! Even though I’ve yet to complete the game once through, it’s 2020, and I started my quest the first week the game came out. Yes, I’m very aware of that fact, but I’m currently at level 100 and something. I love Fallout 4, and I’m getting to the point where I can kill anything in the wasteland in mere seconds. My point being, I know this game well, and this video for the majority of people, is something I would have loved to watched when I first started playing, in fact, I’d say that this is a MUST WATCH video for ANYBODY who has, and will play Fallout 4! FANTASTIC JOB!
LOL~ I’m exactly the same! I’m level 107 and have still not finished the game storyline but have spent more hours than are healthy wandering the Commonwealth and building my settlements up. Many have insulted Fallout 4 as the weakest of the titles but I find the combat, exploration and building mode to be highly addictive? Heck, I’m still playing Skyrim as well. ☺️
Bit late to the party, but You have high % chance of a combat shotgun in Taffington Boathouse. In the boat shed. This is my goto location for a combat shotgun and spawns 9 in 10 attempts. Its part of a trap overlooking the water entrance, which you can get to at very low level, if you are sneaky you can get around the many Bloodbugs, enter the shed via the water but becareful to watch out for and disarm the laser trip wires which set this trap off. Good source of early crystal also with the trip wires. Sadly on the 10th attempt its a double barrelled shotgun.
Here's your SNICKERSNEE, 4 years too late, but it's not lost, though you had to wait. Thanks for the vid. I took over a year off of FO4 to play 76. I finally started a new play through after seeing new mods I want to try. That's when I found you again, while looking for a decent explosive shotgun to terrorize mutants and raiders.👍👍
Haven't played this game since 2017 never played the dlc in it was satisfied with the main story but I checked it out again and it's still a fun game to play. I realize why I loved it so much you can get lost in this game. It also looks like a new game on the series S with the boosted fps!
4:17 Why go to Big John's Salvage when there's another Railway Rifle at Bedford Station. Its relatively safer since its closer to the starting area. Though I think it only starts to appear when the Sole Survivor is around Level 20.
Number 2, there is a possible connection. One commercial you see before entering the vault in your home is the fat man commercial. The fact it is near your home is interesting
Well a great place to hunt radstags (at least for me) was to go near the gunner's plaza, then follow the train track south. there are usually 2-4, just watch out for the S.M. Suicider
Snickersee (though probably a couple years too late to matter) As to the challenge at the beginning of the video, I knew every one of the vanilla locations and neither of the DLC locations.
You can also get the .44 snub at Jamacia Plains as well. Inside the building with a bus in the front, benches to the side and pond in the back. It's on the second floor opposite the room with withered ghoul plus friends and a dead gunner (combat armor). It's laying just on top where the floor from below meet. Goodluck, I pulled it off on survival at lvl 8...but the cost.
Tip for .44 very early. There's a trader in an unmarked spot directly south of diamond city, she'll have 100+ .44 bullets no matter your level for sale.
ThatSavageOwl Gaming Between Bedford Station and the radscorpion shack. Should be next to a large column. Also at level 20, one should spawn inside the blue boxcar at same location.
Puma: Shows where the first easy 44 you can get. Also Puma: Doesn't bother disabling the pump and nabbing the caps behind the pump door or the other goodies on top of the pump. I mean, if they don't know where the 44 is, they don't know about any of that other stuff either.
I can confirm that all of these except the dlc guns (I don't have the dlcs 😅) do spawn in every game, not sure about the missile launcher respawing at back street cuz I normally clear it out as soon as I get there
Wait, at 2:20, did anyone else notice the rifle that looks an awful lot like an M4 or M16??? I didn't think that rifle was in Fallout 4... Was I wrong?
the ripper in early game is really useful. Mod to disarm enemies is so useful sincerelly with blitz and a sneaky character and with jet combined is all a party even in survival.
There is a letter or note you can pick up that says someone hide plasma for someone else you then get a miscellaneous quest that tells you to find the plasma and it ends up being a plasma pistol or rifle I'm not sure if it matters what level you are but I remember getting one relatively early from this.
It is a not from Sue to a person named Billy I've got the plasma I've stashed it at lake quannapowitt and you do need the note for the plasma pistol to spawn.
There is usually a charging laser sniper rifle on the Gunner overpass outpost near Tenpines Bluff. Very good place to grab an early sniper, it's usually there even at very low levels. The problem is that the "charging" part is hard to figure out, you can't see the lights on the rifle when it has a scope on it, but it's still a more or less guaranteed early sniper rifle.
Yeah my favorite thing about starting a new game is running to the disposal ground grabbing a mini nuke my magazine the Fatman and running and grabbing that power armor that's nearby
Every video I see like this mentions the railway rifle at Big John's Salvage but there is a really easily accessible railway rifle at Bedford Station which is really easy to get early game because you just have to kill some low level ghouls. It will be in one of the boxcars on the train and I think it is next to a dead body.
But that one sometimes doesn't spawn and you might have to come back in my experience big johns always spawns for me, where the one at Bedford sometimes doesn't at all
I find Covenant is a lot easier to reach than the Blood Clinic, and just outside Covenant at the ambushed convoy one of the dead guards always has a combat rifle.
You missed the Snickersnee rifle. Lol. Was replaying FO4 in 2020 but abandoned it as I couldn't sort out my mod order (on Xbox) and flying to the Prydwen resulted in constant crashes. Now replaying it in 2021 after some research re. mods. After 2 months of daily play its only crashed once. Im loving it again. Still disappointed you didn't cover the Snickersnee rifle though.... Thanks for the content. After many play-throughs, Im still coming across random encounters or experiencing events in a way I haven't seen b4. There is also a sniper rifle on a (Red Rocket?) building roof I think somewhere in the middle of Grey Garden and Bunker Hill? It is unprotected. Someone will have to correct me on its location. FO4 is an enormous game that is greatly enhanced/fixed by the modding community (yeah... that's a shot at you Bethesda). Hopefully FO5 will emerge into a game worthy of the name (...you know, the jet will make you jittery... lol). Never thought I would put my faith in Microsoft but I really hope they bring something to the game.... ;/
lvl 1 you can get 1 or 2 nuka-grenades guarantee spawn and a mini nuke at the junk yard west of the corvega assembly plant. Also, an unarmed bottle cap mine is on the floor next to the soda machine. It is a good place to stop and stock up robes if doing a child of atom build.
snickersnee 2020 5/19 Just got the DLC to play durning the pandemic. Great content I missed durning my first run. You got me to get the dlc and start a new game :P
spent 44 stimpacks and 978 5mm rounds getting all these but its definitely worth it, still gonna use my chinese seraded sword instead of the ripper though :)
Snickersnee but I'd found the locations. Probably because I hate the main quests so much, I tend to just hang around, explore and see how thoroughly I can clear out sections of the map before they respawn.
I wouldn't say the combat rifle at greater mass blood clinic is real reliable because it didn't show up for me and I was level 14 or 15. the only thing for consistency that I can say is I was playing survival mode that may have had something to do with it.
im thinking about buying this game so kinda want to see what cool guns there are , im allready aware of the building stuff which i really like but hoping to see some baddass guns
There's a combat shotgun inside a small building where the cars and the mongrels are if you go there and see a stairway go on top of it but there's a lot of traps so beware
when referring to maxing out damage: do you also factor in perks? because with that you should be able to drastically increase the missile launchers damage: times 2 by maxing out the explosive perk and times 2 by maxing out the heavy weapons perk (if I remember correctly) so in total times 4
My current play through I found a glitch I do believe... A 10MM that does 145DMG on the second highest receiver, AND that 145DMG stacks with gunslinger too? How peculiar, ey?
I like this dude because he said you can leave a like if you don't know the locations and he said to feel free to leave a dislike if you do know the locations
you forgot the hardened sniper rifle on top of the red rocket near college square you have certain locations in Nuka world you can kill aiders without the place turning hostile you do need to make sure all are dead as dead men tell no teales otherwise they become hostile
