I appreciate that you took the effort to create this video. However, there's too much generic discussion and not enough actual details: how does it work exactly? Show that, please.
Your info on the Break away is wrong with it only working on Sports Bikes. I had it installed on my 2008 Yamaha Stratoliner, which is a large cruiser, and I've never had any problems with it.
I have used many of these designs over the years and this is a great review. Each have pros and cons so I can't say which you should try. I agree the Kaoko deserves top billing but also agree with difficult to use and would rather have directions screen printed on the dial, but the branding is pretty slick.
I’d be interested if there was a throttle lock that was super easy to engage ..allowing you to increase the rpm and hold it steady , but at low speed.. just enough to keep it consistent while in the friction zone at the Intersection or when you are about make a turn…. Cheating yea… but if you could just slide it with your thumb, like it was a blinker it engages and sets the rpm at the desired level.. but then the moment you increase the throttle, it disengages and is overridden ….and then when you are coming to a stop, you click or slide the button and your rpm increases to your default-preferred rpm..and away you go…. Your welcome. I’ll take some royalties
