*Arrival*: I've heard only good things about this - I'll check it out. *Jungle Book*: The CGI blew me away, but the story itself just doesn't work for me. *Deadpool*: I usually can't stand the superheo genre, but this movie made me laugh a lot! *La La Land*: I love movie musicals and this one is getting so much praise, I want to experience it myself. I'm gonna see it at the cinema tomorrow.

Moana is my favourite movie of 2016

The Accountant is in my opinion one the most underrated movies of 2016. I may have a bias here considering I have high function autism, but the movie captures that disability very well while at the same time counting as Jason Bourne with Ben Affleck, which really worked for the film itself.

I'm gonna say it - I don't get the fuss with The Jungle Book. I like it, but I feel as though it's just another Disney remake, like Cinderella. And I'm sorry, but it doesn't hold a candle to the original. Maybe it's mostly nostalgia, but The original Jungle Book is my favourite Disney movie!

Man, I respect your list, but it's such a pity that you don't watch less famous movies or more indipendents movies; I think this year so many movies were great, but kind of underrated because less famous than others. Your friend Chris watches more movies like those, you should as well because there are so many good titles out there waiting to be watched ;)

Here are my thoughts Flick Pick: 10. It was brilliant sci-fi drama. 09. It was a good late 70's fictional buddy cop film. 08. It was amazing. 07. It was good. It was more of thriller asperger/autistic film which I am, but it was good. 06. It was really good. 05. Didn't like it, it was too much and I rather see the 2018 version than this. I want a real Rudyard Kipling's based adaption of "The Jungle Book" and this one is a parody of the same film. 04. It was awesome. 03. It was great. 02. It absolutely love it. Much more modern classic film of all time. 01. It was awesome. So good and I appreciate that this movie dominates the superhero genre. Now here's my own top 10 list of the best films of 2016: 10. I enjoyed all the movies on your list. I personally did love a few movies. This year was mostly terrible for big budgeted movies (BvS, Suicide Squad, Independence Day: Resurgence). My favorites: 1. Hacksaw Ridge 2. Manchester by the Sea 3. Blood Father 4. Arrival 5. Captain America: Civil War 6. Star Trek Beyond 7. The Nice Guys 8. Deadpool 9. 10 Cloverfield Lane 10. Hell or High Water For me personally, nothing even came close to impacting me the way Hacksaw Ridge did. I love Braveheart and Apocalypto, but I think Hacksaw Ridge passed both to become my favorite Mel Gibson directed movie. Great video as usual, John. Very excited to see your worst of 2016 list. 1) Rogue one (Intense, funny, incredibly rewatchable) 2) BvS (I realise it's imperfect but I can't help have a really good time watching it!) 3) Nice Guys (besides being a lil predictable - flawless movie, it's just not that rewatchable after the 2nd/3rd viewing) 4) Civil War (very rewatchable, intense, action packed and has Spider-Man) 5) Nocturnal animals (most intense movie I've seen all year, really deep, pretty much flawless but I can't see myself watching it over and over again) 6) Deadpool (Best atmospheric movie I've ever seen, everyone in the cinema was laughing themselves into tears - problem is: I've accidentally memorised all the jokes so they don't seem as funny anymore & the action can't carry the movie by itself) 7) Star Trek Beyond (what an amazing trilogy, I love how everyone's slowly transforming into the characters we know) 8) War Dogs (Underrated & clever - the trailers just misadvised viewers) 9) Eddie the Eagle (just an extremely enjoyable feel good film) 10) The Accountant (underrated with some truly masterful scenes) Somehow I haven't seen arrival or la la land yet!!

I don't know if you've seen it yet John and you may end up not liking it, but I have a feeling you'll really like High-Rise. I just have a feeling it'll be your kind of movie, it's a social satire but it's also a black comedy and I found it to be very darkly comedic at times and I know that's the kind of humour you love.
