Zach Thundergold I remember the first time I encountered the man at legs thinking that it was going to be just like fighting a weevil then the gun appeared and slaughtered my hopes and dreams 😂 but emperor bulblax most definitely deserves the number one spot
I really hope they make a Pikmin game for Nintendo Switch because I feel like the series is dying since the last Hey Pikmin game instead of a full game like Pikmin 3 and also I’m glad your back DazzReviews
Ryan Meckel Really? I don't think the series was ever dying, just in the works. I mean, people talk about Miyamoto and Pikmin 4 all the time, but he mentioned it last year at e3 during an interview.... I'm sure we'll see something this year at e3, at least, I hope so.
I remember playing the hell out of Pikmin 1 and 2, going as far to try and get through the game with little to no pikmin dying as I got emotional if even one died. After many restarts and the amount of time it took to beat all the coop missions on Pikmin 2 till all were perfect (no pikmin death whatsoever on all missions) I have to say my favorite was Man-at-legs (Though annoying if you weren't prepared),Titan Dweevil due to its design, concept, and variety of attacks compared to other bosses, or the crab one you mentioned. However, the water wraith was memorable to me, not cause I liked it, but because it scared the shit out of me. You go in that cave, automatically thinking about scouting the area and then appropriately running around and taking care of the wildlife there to collect the treasure, but then that sinister being arrives suddenly and without warning. The fact it chases you relentlessly made me worried for my pikmin that I honestly turned the game off seeing I was stuck in one area with the bastard not leaving me enough time to hurry to the next cave, and I wasn't wanting to lose my pikmin there. Luckily, if I remember correctly, if you go through the whole cave then come back to it again, you don't get surprised attacked, so its best to run through it to kill it at the end, then make another trip to collect the treasure. That's what I did. The Adult Cloyster was an interesting one too, since it dived into the dual captain mechanic of Pikmin 2, having to switch between one of the two captains get behind and attack the tail. I was wanting to play Pikmin 3, but the transition to collecting fruit instead of treasure made me conflicted. I reveled in simply spending time looking at the treasure I collected in Pikmin 2 and telling my grandpa, uncle and mother about them, how I got them, and what we thought some of them were. I miss those times, truly. I just hope my parents will be alive for the next pikmin game to release so I could collect the treasure again and show them all the fun I had reliving something I cherished at a young age and made my parents happy with seeing my enjoyment.
That’s actually a really rad final boss for Hey Pikmin. I’m kind of surprised The Titan Dweevil was only #6, not saying it should have been #1 but probably top 3. I think Pikmin 1 & 2 really delivered perfectly in the final boss department which is also why I’m surprised the Pikmin 1 Emperor Bulblax isn’t here, that guy was super intimidating when I was little. Honorable mention goes to the Man at Legs for being really cool. But hey it’s your list I’m just rambling
Agree I just played 2 and fought it. It was surprisingly easy cause I used yellows but it was terrifying at the same time as I was trying to save my babies the damn bugger killed a ton of my yellows (17)
Oh, so he has returned. The legend has awaken from his slumber, the one they call Dazz. The one who is praised for defying the odds, even beating pikmin color blind. Now he lists his 10 easiest enemies to crush in his path, we all better watch out
Still waiting for Pikmin 4 (2 years later and I'm STILL waiting) EDIT: Pikmin 3 Deluxe is ok, but I'm still waiting EDIT 2: IT’S FINALLY COMING OUT IN A MONTH OR SO
honestly, i really liked the armoured mawdad, the way it climbed on the walls combined with the rain made it genuinely really unnerving for me; the way you have to keep turning the camera around to find where it is made me feel like it was toying with me, waiting for the perfect moment to strike not to mention, the way it traps your pikmin with it's big mandibles was really nerve-wracking for me on my first playthrough
The nature of Pinchipede kinda gives me an idea for Pikmin's future. With Pikmin 3, we have seen that other races/ planets have taken notice of the Distant Planet. What if some planetoid took notice of it, but used it for industry rather than farming/ archeological study? Koppai and Hocotate return to the planet, to find that it is being run by tycoons taking advantage of the planet's resources. It becomes a race against time as the industry has stated that they have filed the paperwork for ownership rights to the planet, and an intergalactic inspector will be coming by in a month to see the efficacy of their production for final approval. You must brave not only the natural life of the planet, made more hostile due to re-location and aggressive tactics by the industry, but brave the industry itself as they are unwilling to loosen their iron grip on the planet. Industrial bosses would be technological in nature like the Pinchipede, and they might even employ Pikdrones, which would be mechanical entities that are their soulless mechanical workers commanded by Industrial enforcers. That's right, general v general combat in the main story! Thoughts?
Dazz! It's so great watching your videos again! Man...I remember your predictions for Pikmin 3. The weather, hazards, new Pikmine, ahh the nostalgia is wonderful!
The amount of Hey!Pikmin positivity in this video makes me so happy! what a refreshing pikmin video, i love Hey! and i’m glad this showcased some of its best features
I like the berserk leech hydro. But one of my favorites has to be the plasm wraith for the variety of its abilities and the amount of mystery surrounding it.
Great list, I actually pretty much agree with that list completely! I really enjoyed this video, and I think the unscripted worked well! Great content as always! :-)
I am sure they will announce it too. There are rumors saying that there will be all 7 pikmin species and all 5 protagonists of the serie (without the president).
The problem with the puffstool is you always get that one glitched puff-min that attacks the puffstool. Although that might not be a bad thing since it's kinda funny.
Yay Dazz! It would be nice for you to make a big Prediction Video on Pikmin 4 (seeing as E3 is in about a month) Please, I love hearing everyone’s Pikmin predictions!
7:45 hahaha you're there fighting the final boss and it's the first time a pikmin receives water in his face xD I think I also had that in my last game.
Realistically, a Pinchipede would be a lot like a land-dwelling Siphonophore, just that the different segments would be individual creatures linked together like train carriages, but able to detach at will.
9:49 also some ant queens self destruct, like literally explode acid when they are in danger, humans even experimented by burning all the grassland in a forested area to create a maintainable forest fire that was contained, and the ants still found a way to survive and thrive.
People don't like it because it's different, games like: Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts Paper Mario Sticker Star and Color Splash Are good examples in my opinion
I mean i was kinda mad at first but then i saw game play of it and realized that its on the 3DS The 3DS can only do so much and now i find it like a hidden gem like drawn to life was until . . . Well ,you can look it up.
Wasn't some of this footage from Chuggaaconroy's let's play? I remember that during the Titan Dweevil fight he experienced drowning for the first time and had to view the tutorial
See the thing for me about the scornet maestro is that it is very easy I'm admittedly pretty bad at pikmin but the scornet maestro I can beat in just 2 minutes! But I do agree with your points it is a good boss
And now... critisism. ... Great footage of the water wriath there... Hardly saw it, as it5 was blocked by a wall and a pipe most of the time Was that taken from a clip of some sort of challenge run? Were you trying to beat the game without moving the camera or something? (an actually interesting idea for a challenge in a game where knowing your enviroment is pretty darn importaint)
It's funny that half of these bosses (of the ones I recognize), I just keep thinking "Ah, I hate this boss." Like the ant lion sand worm was just super annoying, and especially the giant mud crab thing.. Maybe it was just me, but I didn't really like many of the bosses from Pikmin 3. And I didn't even realize the Puffstool counted as a boss. Surprised Emperor Bulblax isn't here. For Pikmin 1, he's an amazing final boss. Although Titan dweevil from Pikmin 2 was definitely my favorite boss. And Water wraith, oh my god, the water wraith. I remember it, and it was such an amazing rush to the bottom in that cave. Very fun boss, not for the fight, but for the thrill.
How to defeat the Scornet Maestro: This flying beast commands Scornets to attack and steal your Pikmin, it will have three formations, First formation: The Scornets will act like a drill and follow the active captain, my tip is use the arrow keys (left and right) because all of your Pikmin in your party move out of the way. Second formation: The second formation is a Rectangle, move next to the edges. Third formation: The third formation is a circle, the circle will get smaller and smaller till it closes and grabs your Pikmin in the circle, my tip is that you either defeat some of the Scornets to escape, or if you have a small amount of Pikmin you can just throw them out of the circle then grab them after the Scornets go. After every attack the Scornets will leave for a few seconds and that’s when you attack the Scornet Maestro with flying Pikmin. When it falls to the ground charge at it.
I actually just completed the Submerged Castle (again) today, and I'm never going back there again. Or, I'm not getting every treasure in the cave again.
great video you and all the commenetrs made my day make sure to get lots of water - your brain health depends on it and make sure to wear a helmet -- you dont want epilepsi the rest of your life
my fav pikmin boss is man at leggs, when you first see it you are like wouw it is a generator thingymajic prob somthing of the level right ? Nope then it comes out fo the ground revealing it's true form which is a not as big as the other legs bosses boss whit a lazer dot machine gun that shoots you and your pikmin for quite a bit until it overheats and has to cool down.
