FYI, most of these helmets are for air soft , not real tactical ones used by military. Never use these items to stop real bullets. You will sorely be mistaken.

I would only trust to the hhv ate 2, team wendy, ops core and 3m f70. Those are actually nij 3a rated helmets and can possibly save your life. Team wendy and ops core being really expensive and if you are not issued those trough your unit I would get something else.

@@Top10Zone no problem. Its an important distinction. Ballistic helmets on the market today are usually NIJ 3a rated and will stop most "pistol" rounds up to .44mag. Bump helmets will not and have their history beginning with special forces who used the vintage protec classic half cut to protect their heads while reppeling from helicopters- see the delta force guys in blackhawk down for example. The use of these light helmets improved mobility and limited neck injuries Protec makes a great tactical helmet to this day which is among the highest quality and lowest cost coming in at $70 with the NVG Mount. It does not come with rails however, arc rails are easily had and installed.

I don't think ballistic means what you think it means. These are mostly all airsoft helmets. A ballistic helmet can stop (not all but some) bullets. What the hell is abs plastic gonna do to protect someone from a 9mm round??? FAIL!!!!!
