Klaus, Kol, Freya, Vincent, Rebekah, Camille, Hayley, Marcel. Some better than most but still all of them are great, love them all. But my absolute personal favorite has got to be Elijah.

Kol is my favourite character and I think they’re is more to him then this video stated as clearly shown by his relationship with Davina he’s become a likeable character he’s changed as the season has progressed and is the best!
Seriously, is that all you could say about Hayley?!?!? She is the catalyst of this whole story. She served as a dedicated alpha for her pack who sacrificed her our happiness and a new member of Mikealson family that fought for her family when they themselves couldn’t. Even Kol acknowledges Hayley as a mikealson. Above all, she is a loving mother who did what she truly thought was best for her daughter. She made Klaus a better person in ways even Caroline and Camille couldn’t. She was loved and mourned by everyone for fighting for better future. I’m disappointed that you summarized her presence in the show as just a crazy hybrid who has rampages.
yes I am coming here in present day to say this: after watching the originals for the first time this year I can confidently say Hayley was BY FAR the best character on the Originals and my personal favorite. I loved everything about her, and Phoebe Tonkin, my god that woman is talented as hell, she made me fall in love w her the second she came on screen and her death hit me the hardest. There truly is no debate and nobody can hold a candle to her imo.

Autora, definitely. I adored Aurora as a villain. The fact she had a disorder (she was bipolar if you hadn't understood it), and that they showed vampirism intensified it, was a wonderful touch for me. But as a young woman with ASD, I might feel more biased of the community of people with mental health issues.
I think Esther was not truely a villain, she was not cruel ... Yeah she made many horrible mistakes and her undoing was also in wrong way but we can't characterized as a villain...as her intentions were never selfish!

You said that Kol was the third son of Mikeal and Esther. That is incorrect because he is the fourth son actually. The age order from oldest to youngest is: Freya, Finn, Elijah, Niklaus, Kol, Rebekah, and Henrik.
I also am one of the people in the fandom that like Vincent. I understand some hate him, but I understood he had his reasons for everything. If you haven't seen the first episode of season five, little spoiler but Freya and Vincent kinda became friends over time, and I thought their friendship looked kinda heartwarming, and that Vincent could step over his dislike for the Mikaelsons enough to be friends with Freya was a positive character development, it showed his merciful character. I always wished for them to be friends, and I am happy other people also like Freya and Vincent. They are both wonderful characters, and I enjoyed them a lot more then I enjoy some other characters, like Hayley and Marcel.
I think Kol should have been higher due to his storyline. He went from a murderous psychopath in TVD to a complex misunderstood man in the originals. I loved how they showed that his betrayals and antics came from a place of being abandoned and unloved in his own family. Although I love Elijah and klaus their storylines were kind of expected.

Just Kidness probably because she was on the show longer, but I do think Freya was more interesting and that the writers failed to keep Cami interesting. Still liked Cami though. She mellowed the supernatural group out, was kind, and kept Klaus grounded before she died.

I can't stand The Vampire Diaries, but I love The Originals. Mostly because it has three of some of my favorite things. Which is vampires, witchs, and New Orleans.
Vincent and Freya should have both been above Kol. There characters are far more significant than his. As for Rebekah, she was childish, insecure, and downright annoying on TVD. However, on The Originals, she has become a real bad ass. Love her! Also, I wouldn't characterized Hayley as insane. I think she was very emotional after being turned into a hybrid thanks to her daughter being taken away and then Klaus cursing her. However, she isn't insane or paranoid. Overprotective of her family, yes, but not insane.

Did you mean ... Top 10 Originals Main characters? It would be really cool to see some variety on this list. For example Aurora, Tristan and Lucian (especially Aurora, she was such a great villain with her sweet, deranged personality, truely a kind of Harley Quinn) were all really amazing characters, same with Josh or Aidan, Dahlia was obviously very evil, but really interesting as well. And how is Hope not even an honorable mention? She's the whole reason the show exists...
Also Marcel above Hayley? Why? Marcel is a nice character, but sometimes he's just so annoying and Hayley is a strong, compassionate character that never stops fighting for the people she loves. And why is Davina above Camille? Camille was so sweet and she made Klaus truly happy. The writers did her so dirty by just killing her off so the annoying Klaroline shippers get their wish (Why can't they move on?) Davina on the other hand was really annoying and conspired so many times against the Mikaelsons...
