kevin willems Well, popularity is a criteria, not the end all be all. That said, in one of the earlier versions of the list War Pigs was indeed #1, then Iron Man, but in the end, this order just made more sense. Paranoid was on our Top 10 Heavy Metal Guitar Riffs and stay tuned for our upcoming Top 10 Metal Anthems to see which - if any ;) - Sabbath track makes the cut.
They mentioned his whole name once. He's mentioned by last name when they're talking about Paranoid. So twice throughout. I agree, not much love for him
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is the most underrated album ever created. I think a few of the songs from it should have been on this, like A National Acrobat, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and Who Are You. Planet Caravan would have been good too. Watchmojo, stop basing your lists off of commercial success.

MrXxalicatexx Im a huge fan of Slip but I think Watchmojo does more of the classic rock and hard rock list at the moment. all though I think they were mentioned on the top 10 heavy metal groups. I could be wrong
Black Sabbath: Wicked World Paranoid: Planet Caravan Master Of Reality: Solitude Vol.4: Tomorrow's Dream Sabbath Bloody Sabbath:Spiral Artitecht Sabotage:Am I Going Insane(Radio) Technical Estecy: Gypsy Never Say Die: stuck between Johnny Blade and Air Dance
@@LeftHookLegend You have no idea what you’re talking about. The Dio albums are absolutely fantastic, and the Tony Martin albums are fairly solid as well.
my list 10.the wizard 9.children of the sea 8.Sign of southern cross 7.Sweet Leaf 6.Children of the grave 5.Neon Knights 4.Iron man 3.Black Sabbath 2.Heaven and hell 1.War pigs
1. Children of the Grave 2. Paranoid 3. Snowblind 4. N.I.B 5. War Pigs 6. Into the void 7. Planet Caravan 8. Iron Man 9. Black Sabbath 10. Fairies Wear Boots
Lord of this World is hugely underrated. One of Ozzy's best deliveries and melodies. Two of Tony's best riffs and some of his best licks. Some of Geezer's best & scariest bass and lyrics too. And Bill's studio drumming at it's finest...with COWBELL...and then MORE COWBELL! The way the first verse slams it's way into the second verse is Black Sabbath at their very best. It has one of my favorite intros to a song ever as well. One of their most influential songs on me.
And it does something that modern bands are unlikely to pull off in this day and age: slow music that still has the drive and signature sound the band is known for.
Agreed. It has such a dark, chilling vibe to it. I've never heard any other song that comes even close to matching it. My dad used to play it when I was a kid, and it always freaked me out.
My top 10 10. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 9. Changes 8. Lord of this World 7. Snowblind 6. Sweet Leaf 5. Killing Yourself to Live 4. Supernaut 3. A National Acrobat 2. Children of the Grave 1. War Pigs
Two notable omissions (and I'm saying this when I know that Iron Man will be #2 and Paranoid will be #1) Fairies Wear Boots and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
Ozzy is such a fucking legend! It's incredible that he's still alive, let alone that I had the chance to see him live in Bergen, Norway a couple of years ago! It was amazing! \m/
10. Snowblind 9. Hole in the Sky 8. Supernaut 7. War Pigs 6. Iron Man 5. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 4. Symptom of the Universe 3. After Forever 2. Children of the Grave 1. Black Sabbath
I personally would've put Iron Man at #1 just because it's got a better riff, but don't get me wrong, I love Paranoid. WatchMojo could probably do another top ten of Black Sabbath songs (wink, wink).
+Chris Brown One of my all time favorite guitar solos despite the fact that the original recording quality is an epic level of shite! I have long hoped that they would release a digitally remastered version to recapture the brilliant nuances of Tonis' epic Jazz guitar inspired solo. This song is one of the reasons why Toni Iommi is one of my all time favorite guitar players. Remarkable song, one of my favorites as well !
Spiral Architect. This song has every ingredient to be one of the best ever. The lyrics are pure genius , strong vocals, amazing intro and riffs, the drumming is thunderous and fast, takes your heart along with the ride with its fast rhythm. Amazing all around.
She did mention him when she was talking about the song paranoid as well as faries wear boots 😤🤬 you must not have been listening I had my volume muted since I'm here sitting next to my mom whose watching a televisionshow right now and flips out if she even thinks she hears ANY MUSIC THEN I GOTTA TELL HER/ASK HER TO CALM DOWN AND SHE CAN HEAR A MOUSE FART IN HER SLEEP DEAD ASLEEP THAT IS 😤🤬🙊🙈🙉..!! ..

Straightener Honourable mentions: The Sign of the Southern Cross, Black Sabbath, Changes, Lonely is the Word, N.I.B., Air Dance, Junior's Eyes
Sabbath is my favorite band, they are litterly musical genius, there is just something about them from the KickAss riffs to the Dark thought provoking lyrics to the amazing conceptual albums. Just all around the greatest band to ever play next to Led and Lynard.
Paranoid was always my favorite BS song, but I thought I was alone on that. Nice to see it gets the recognition that I think it deserves. And I agree with some other posters: War Pigs is ahead of Iron Man. To me, they're not even close.
My top: 1. Paranoid 2. Snowblind 3. War pigs 4. Supernaut 5. Sweet leaf 6. N.I.B 7. Iron Man 8. Heaven and hell 9. Symptom of the Universe 10. Into the Void H.M. : Black Sabbath, Children of the Grave, Megalomania, Sabbath Bloody S., Hand of doom.
I feel like Children Of The Grave is heavily underrated compared to their other well known songs. Almost 50 years later and the message still resonates as it did when penned.

It is just MY opinion. Black Sabbath is the best band ever imo. Never say die
EAZYED420 Sabbra Cadabra is my personal favorite Sabbath song. It seems to be consistently overlooked on top 10 Sabbath song lists. Also Snowblind should be much higher than 10. If you ask me, it's easily top 5. The choices on this list were clearly more influenced by commercial success rather than the fan favorites. No excuse for Faries Wear Boots to just be an honorable mention!
Lambros Andro Bullshit. Dio proved damn well that there could be a Sabbath without Ozzy. Which is far more than can be said of any of Sabbath's other myriad singers.
Black Sabbath at #8 is a sin. The ending solo is one of the best guitar solos of all time, IMO. EDIT: Wow, Fairies Wear Boots is an honorable mention, and no mention of Tomorrow's Dream..
My list: 10. Over to you 9. Johnny Blade 8. Dirty women 7. Sweat leaf 6. A hard Road 5. Supernaut 4. Sabbath bloody Sabbath 3. Rock 'n' roll doctor 2. Snowblind 1. Never say die
10. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 9. Children of the Grave 8. Paranoid 7. Wheels of Confusion 6. Tomorrow's Dream 5. Sweet Leaf 4. The Writ 3. War Pigs 2. Snowblind 1. Into The Void
Ronnie James Dio was a great Sabbath's frontman and I have a realy big respest for him, but the lung of Black Sabbath's is Ozzy Ousborne but Heave and Hell is a song that realy got me like it even thou I prefer Ozzy Ousborne's stuff like Paranoid, Iron Man, War Pigs, Black Sabbath ...
My top 10 10. Killing Yourself To Live 9. Johnny Blade 8. Falling Off The Edge Of The World 7. Wheels Of Confusion/The Straightener 6. Into The Void 5. Snowblind 4. The Wizard 3. Black Sabbath 2. The Thrill Of It All 1. Supernaut And I will add this...there isn't such a thing as a bad Black Sabbath song. Just different levels of greatness.
I HATE how she mentions Iommi, Ozzy and Ward but RARELY Fucking Geezer Butler! Butler is Black fucking Sabbath's lyrics and groovy addictive soul of bass lines!! Hails to Geezer, underrated bassist.
My List : 10 - Air Dance 9 - Supernaut 8 - Lord Of This World 7 - NIB 6 - Snowblind 5 - Wicked World 4 - Fairies Wear Boots 3 - A National Acrobat 2 - War Pigs 1 - Under The Sun
