They didn’t unite then King James I ( James VI ) was king of England and King of Scotland yet they did not unite until 1707 during Anne’s reign and that’s when Great Britain was made a country

She was English, not British. British monarchs are Queen Anne (of the Stuart era) onwards She would definitely be high up if the list included monarchs from William I onwards (as the Elizabethan era is known as a Golden Age)

Because at the time the English Throne and the Scottish Throne was separate. The monarchs you mentioned were both the English Monarch and Scottish Monarch at the same time but there not British Monarchs.
