3:00 Daniel Craig does such a good villain that even watching the movie I could not tell it was him ever like this scene is probably the only "oh hey this is something he could say" and that is fantastic
While I saw James Bond coming a mile away for #1, I was so happy that they put his performance from Defiance on this list. Seriously, that movie was amazing!
I have always found it funny in Tomb Raider, that the American actress (Angelina Jolie) plays a brit and that the brit (Daniel Craig) plays an American, one of them must have thought " jeez that accent is soooo bad" about the other :D
Daniel Craig is a damn good James Bond. I dare say tied for number one with Sean Connery or even give Daniel a slight edge over Sean. It'll be a shame once Daniel hangs up the tux, though I for one wouldn't mind if the rumors of Idris Elba becoming the next Bond were actually true.
Fun Fact: All actors who become James Bond sign, in their contracts, that they cannot appear in any other film wearing a black tuxedo with white shirt ever again, because it would do exactly what you did just now: evoke nostalgia to the Bond character, and EON wants that look to remain exclusive.
Bro, I'm the ultimate film nerd and I watched every Bond a couple of times. I really enjoy the classic ones and when they said Craig will be the next Bond I was kinda surprised but now I really like him as 007. You don't have to be the same opinion. Bye ;)
Neal Caffrey Maybe to the idea of what you thought 'Bond' was. But he was always Bond. A character that shifted through many moments of growth and change in that film. And Craig was absolutely masterful in it.
Every other bond seem like morons with 99% luck compared to craig, he's able to sell agent 007 as an intelegent professional spy while keeping the charm
He doesn't hate playing Bond. It's just he's always getting bombarded with questions and commentary about that character that he gets fed up, and sometimes says stupid things in the heat of the moment. But, come on... it's James Frickin Bond.
I respect the fact that you don't care what anyone says, but nonetheless I will still state my two cents: *SP* ecial *E* xecutives for *C* ounter-intelligence, *T* errorism, *R* evenge, and *E* xtortion, as a Bond-fan, was a very underwhelming film when they added that dark disturbing storyline in the iconic rivalry between Bond and "him!" Now I don't know if they're saving it for the one coming up next year, but the final action scene where he takes down Waltz character, I expected that to have been done better than a simple Boat vs. Helicopter chase down the Thames River only to then mention that he is "out of bullets!"

he isn't a kingpin or a druglord in layer cake I have seen the movie 7 times he is just a very good drug dealer who dealt in kilos get your facts right
+SuperDizzy1996 Agreed..." He deals with commodities... washing machines, cars, blowjobs.. as long as you don't take a piss.. people will keep coming back. " XXX
+Podrey Sanchez A good performance is a good performance even if it's in a shit movie. Besides, the plot of the movie might be silly, but it isn't THAT bad.
All the people getting so mad that they pronounced his name Creg it's just our accent North Americans (watchmojo is Canadian) pronounce Craig like this so sorry not sorry about our accents
I think Daniel Craig's best performance was in "Dream House" (2011). His amazing performance should have earned him an Oscar nomination! For anyone who has not seen the powerful movie, I highly recommend.
I think his finest performances as an actor are the adult Joe Scott in 'Flashbacks of a fool' and Joe in 'Enduring Love' in both case he raises the atmospheric feel & impact of these budget movies to an almost Shakespearean level of gravity...not easy to pull off. Both worth seeing. 👍🏻
He is a great actor, and I enjoy most of his moves but the bonds however... NO. But that being said I did really like him in Casino Royal, I think he nailed it. As well Casino Royal was a great movie, good writing and it was impressive overall. Actually it's the only bond I liked him in, Quantum Of Solace sucked and I really hated sky fall. But thats just my opinion. I'm sure a great chunk of the masses would disagree.
Bonifilio Soto I thought the writing was lazy... I thought some of the plot was to obvious and I found it to drawn out, I also didn't like the portrayal of a drunk lazy bond. The only thing I liked about the film was the villain. And overall I just wasn't impressed, in fact I really didn't care for it. But that's just my opinion.
So his best performance wasn't even in honorable mentions???? I know he was quite young back then but his role in "The Power of One" (1992) is still his best.
He was privileged to work with some Hollywood stars before and after Bond, with the likes of the late Paul Newman, Angelina Jolie, Harrison Ford, and Nicole Kidman, to name a few.
Casino Royale convinced me he was a terrific actor. There's something commanding about his presence on screen. If only Spectre and Quantum of Solace had a better script..
People really don't give Daniel Craig enough credit as an actor. Don't get me wrong, he's my favourite Bond and I love him in that role, but he's so magnetic in everything else he's in too.
He is an amazing Bond, but I think his best movies were "Defiance,"Some Voices," and "The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo." ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YZr0MbV39O0.html
Not even an honorable mention for his small but VERY INTENSE role as John Ballard in "Elizabeth" (1998), the assassin sent by the church to kill Queen Elizabeth? His role was not too big and he said very few lines, but he had such deadliness and brutality that would make him the perfect choice as the future James Bond.
I am really surprised that his role in The Power Of One (1992) did not make the list. Despite having not yet seen the movie, I have read many good things about his performance in it. He plays a racist South African policeman. I recall him saying in a magazine interview ahead of the premiere of Casino Royale, he was grateful to director John G. Advilson for casting him in part since it was his first film role.
Daniel Craig is the best James Bond acter 100%, And I like all he's bond movies... And some of the other he's been in, just bad movies / scripts he's got. So sad if he stops being bond :-c
Indeed it was, I heard that writer/ director Rian Johnson is working on the script for a follow up movie right now. Whenever it comes out, I will defiantly see it.
I'm shocked "Some Voices" didn't make the list OR even get an honorable mention. His performance in that film was truly heartbreaking. a terrific actor.
I am slowly working my way through Daniel Craig's filmography, So far besides his James Bond movies I have enjoyed his work in Layer Cake, Munich, Defiance, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Knives Out. Also I did enjoy both Cowboys And Aliens and Logan Lucky as well. Logan Lucky is especially funny, he plays a southern hillbilly explosives expert. Next I want to see The Trench and Road To Perdition, since I heard a lot of good things about them.
