@@officialimicca wrong, it’s because it’s new tech. The download is huge, let them update it, they couldn’t test on MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of players without releasing the game. Let them fix stuff, this is gonna be one of the best games of the generation. Mark em’
You forget the one where when Johnny takes over V's body, he gets wasted at a club, and upon which there is a man that asks johnny if he wants to take either a "red pill" or the "blue pill".
“I hate sand. It’s course, and rough, and irritating. And it gets everywhere.”-Anakin Skywalker One of the Aldecaldos will say this at Their camp if you just spam talking to them.
@@zeuqramjj2002 I’m late, I am also not here to offer any help, but it’s either a gig or cop side mission. It’s out in the middle of no where. No it’s in the tunnel from Panam’s mission
On one of the side missions for Kerry Eurodyne, after you go up a elevator to watch him and the Us Cracks finish a concert, if you wait for the reporter to finish asking her questions you hear a fan scream out "you're Breathtaking" and Kerry proceeds to say it back while doing Keanu's pose from the real event.
It's so dense. There is more detail per square inch than even really good linear story games. It's a true open world, not just a big map with copy pasted trees in-between locations.
@@joshuajennison8280 this is one thing I noticed. In many games I'm constantly checking the map to see where I am. In this one, even after only a few hours, I found myself navigating Watson without even looking because each intersection is recognizable.
@@RegularRetro idk the game feels like its on rails imo, every fixer is introduced to you as soon as you go into an area and all they do is sell cars and give you a mission. I'm having fun playing it but its missing so many fundamental things
During the Delamain taxi quest, there is also a "Silence of the Lambs" easter egg where the taxi is named Clarice and complains about the Flamingos, you destroy plastic flamingos and V asks Clarice if the Flamingos have stopped screaming, pretty cool
Didnt notice that tbh thanks, there's also a portal easter egg in this side mission branch aswell but thats really obvious Edit: I should have watched the video longer...
I feel like i k ow the reference. Is it farenheight 451. I remember the name clarice. I did the mission and was like. This is like the book right, its clarice, flamingoes. Idek
I think its also worth mentioning that the easter egg of the sailor moon pose is a cooler one than you think. As the woman who voices female V, voiced Sailor Venus in the English dub.
I didn’t realize this and now I’m really glad I played the female V. She’s even cooler and it’s funny all the cursing tough stuff is coming from sailor Venus 😂 Also that she’s called V and voices by Sailor Venus... like did they do that on purpose or?
I was running past it and saw Dela main contacting me then heard Glados and was like: "Is that....inside one of the Taxis? Fuck! Run!" And then realized I wasn't Chell and had a power sniper rifle.
So that means that Keanu Reeves, John Wick and Johnny Silverhand all canonically exist in the cyberpunk universe. And maybe Neo is also an occupant of cyberpunk. Honestly that's just awesome
@@danielmoraes743 I was thinking what if Franklin and Lamar reformed the Grove Street Familys after GTA V and they ends up retaking Grove Street from the Ballas and in the future the New Grove Street familys became the 6th Street
“Does he look like a bitch” is a graffiti on the top floor of the building that Misty take you to reflect before the grand finale. This is obviously a reference to Pulp Fiction!
There's an ad that plays on the t.v.'s that calls back to the "Lots of guns" scene from the Matrix. But instead it says "Lots of clothes" and shows the same animation from the film.
Best part about Judy's tattoos is that the mission where she takes you on a date is called Pyramid Song and you and her basically have a magical time recreating the music video of said song.
@J.C. Denton yeah my pc also handles it really well, but those shitty consoles don't. Guess pcmr has yet another exclusive... it's not really exclusive but it's only playable on pc so yeah...
I mean, I though the blade runner reference was supposed to be the character "Misty" cause she has literally the same hair style/make up that the replicant "Pris" uses in Blade Runner
Yeah, once I straight up saw Neo. Iirc it was when... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Johnny goes out on a bender in V's body, but I'm not too sure now.
I've got two months of Gamepass left, Cyberpunk ain't getting anymore of my time until at the very least that's expired, and even then there's Star Wars Squadrons & Ghostrunner for me to play. CDPR gotta fix this shit
In the side quest 'Happy together' you discover the friend of a character in that quest is a turtle. A band called 'The Turtles' made a song called 'Happy together'. When you go to the grave of this turtle, you start another quest called 'Fool on the hill' which is a song by The Beatles. These songs, both came from the same year: 1967.
I actually found another two Pulp Fiction references. 1. There’s a Fixer Mission, where you have to free a Boxer named Coolidge from a Tyger Claws Dojo. 2. There’s a little Side Mission in a Diner, that basically references the whole Diner Scene and the conversation between Pumpkin and Jules.
Makaronina, the VERY FIRST mission, the same one showcased a cpl yrs ago, you have to "Pulp Fiction" the adrenaline into the chik's chest to stabilize her.
Well, Keanu's character *IS* a rock star... kinda makes sense. But now that you mention it, I had been scratching my head over it. Works splendidly. Guess that's why it took a decade to make.
And the bomb in the elevator then shooting the cables because the elevator stuck. Also there's a clothing shop ad similar to "guns, lots of guns" scene.
You missed all of the references in the skill tree with stuff from Back to the Future, ghost in the shell, that type thing. Much smaller but I thought they would get a mention
There is a Batman easter egg. Go to the tunnel where you got with Panam and go further in, you'll find the "Batcave" and get to keep the "Batmobile". You're welcome
@@tristancosta6790 Yeah, the note in there is what really connects the two. When I first found it my mind jumped from 'Whooo Batman!' to 'Probably a shiv stash.'
If you take the ending Johnny and Rouge path, at the end of it right before you meet again with Alt, there's second Matrix ester egg where you see the same cat twice after you getting up the stairs.
It's pretty simple actually. They are buttons with different functions. First shell flushes the toilet. Second shell activates a jet of warm water that washes your ass. Third shell activates a blow drier that dries your ass.
@@mancamiatipoola honestly, this sounds like the most plausible explanation. I seen another comment that said the same thing underneath a video of Demolition Man
When you get a special smart gun from a question mark location it sings the melody of disturbia from Rihanna when you talk to it and sometimes when you equip it to use it “Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum”
There is a crashed bike outside the city lying on the rail tracks, and two corpses nearby. From a data-pad found on one of the bodies you find that their names were "Little Smoke" and "JC". The log contains their conversation with the infamous line: "All we had to do, was follow damn train, JC!".
Could'nt remeber the pokemon name, but it was my first thought too. But that shell, and his ghost alike appearance? That still might be GITS refference
I started noticing when I got to the string of Samurai references and I guess I started paying more attention cause after that I kept being like "wait....hold on" lol I mean Stairway to Heaven, All along the watchtower? Nice cdpr, nice lol
Following the Panam quest lines, you'll eventually reach a quest that involves Mitch and Scorpion(the 2 best friends of Panam). After completing the quest you receive a figurine of MortalKombat's Scorpion.
The game will be fix CD came out on twitter and said they will fix it. Remember the same thing happened with witcher 3 loads of bugs but then it was fixed. I say the game will be fix in a few weeks
Just wanna point out that the at the back of the Cemetery there’s a bunch of real life names of people who have died and been immortalised within the game world
Thank you for posting The Office one. I was dying so hard when I found it. You find the mission right after you first speak to rogue. And that samurai sword was pretty badass and strong at that point
Skippy seems to be a reference to the book series called, “The Expeditionary Force” by Craig Alanson. The beer can (Skippy) in the book has a LOT of the same kinds of quirks that Skippy the gun has. Especially the comments about being dumb when you find him. Also, Skippy in the book series is an AI too.
hm, there's another less subtile easter egg to blade runner, can't remember where it is, but there's a memorial with messages on the walls, like epitaphs and one of them is the "like tears in the rain" quote..
Additional Witcher 3 Easter egg I found, when meeting Takemura at the Japan town docks a Arasaka ship called the Okami sail by with its name in bright white letters. Okami means wolf in Japanese so its a reference to the White wolf. Also has some kind of float as its cargo.
@@kaiserisyoursenpai1935 it's definitely a reference to nilfgaard. it actually was a meme that came up with witcher 3. so I would say that they named a magazine "milfgaard" is an easter egg.
He forgot the Matrix reference Easter egg. When offered the blue pill bottle and the red pill bottle... after doing the heist mission. How is everybody missing that
I feel like the hate that this game is getting is similar to TLOU2's. The haters will eventually tire themselves out and then people will speak more fondly of the game.
@@Chevifier that’s pretty fair. Personally, I guess if I had to choose, I’d prefer performance issues, since unlike story, you can patch many issues away over time, but story has a longer-lasting and permanent consequence. Either way, both are bad for any game lol.
Almost all the missions are named after songs. The three main ending missions are “where is my mind” a song by the pixies. “All along the watchtower” by bob Dylan or more famously redone by Jimi Hendrix. And lastly “new dawn fades” by either Moby or Joy division.
Judy’s call icon has a double easter egg. The ghost is a reference to Alphonse Elric from full metal alchemist. Who has his soul attached to a suit of armor a ”Ghost in a Shell”
One thing I like about the BB room is there’s also a legendary revolver in the room. Tie that with Kojima being in the game and one can interpret it as a reference to Revolver Ocelot... or at least I like to think so.
