Exactly, & also I'd rather give the long journey trains the edge over short journey ones as it's impressive to maintain that average speed over a longer period of time (with multiple halts & possibilities of getting late). Not a huge fan of Shatabdis, Vande Bharats or Gatimaans....for me, Rajdhanis, Gareeb Raths & other Superfast Expresses rock 😹

I think that Maharashtra Sampark Kranti should have been included in the list at number 8 along with Patna Rajdhani. It has an average speed of 83 km/h in both directions and the distance covered is 1367 kilometres.

No. Maharashtra Sampark Kranti has an average speed of 81.55 km/h. It travels 1366 km in 16.75 hours. So, 1366 ÷ 16.75 = 81.55 km/h. So it will probably be the 11th fastest train

12909/10 Garib Rath Express 12907/08 Maharashtra Sampark Kranti Express 12247/48 Yuva Express What about these 3 express trains between Bandra Terminus to Nizamuddin. covers 1366 kms in 16hrs 45mins with avg speed of 83.03kmph in both directions. It should be on no.8 position in the list.

Great👍 totally agree with your ranking.... but just for your information I would like to tell that 12393 Sampoorna kranti also compete equally with 12309 Patna Rajdhani on head to head covering distance of 1001 km between ptana to delhi 12:30hr with avg speed of 82km/h however in downward direction it takes 13:50 hrs due to which it got behind patna rajdhani,but still in upward direction it is non less than patna rajdhani in anyway !!!

Both Patna Raj and Sampoorna Kranti don't make it to top ten in one direction according to my calculations, while in down direction Patna Raj has a good average

@@trainwalebhaiya This was a very good list. But considering the average speed of both up and down travel, Maharashtra Sampark Kranti should be above Patna Rajdhani due its bidirectional average speed of 83 km/h.

@@trainwalebhaiya Yes, I know bro. But from last year, MSK has been speeded up in both directions. At least, according to the info I know, it has an average speed of around 82 to 83 km/h in both the directions. I could be wrong but this is what I know. I saw it on IndiaRailinfo and some RU-vidrs have made journey vlogs on it. So is the real average speed about 81 km/h then? (Slightly below Lucknow Tejas express). Anyway, I liked your video. Much better than many other top 10 lists.

I want top fastest train with max distance of 500km. I mean take an example of long journey rajdhani and take the 500km that route which is fastest. Ex. ie. New delhi to ddu route. From there, train slows downs.

Nice analysis, Ahmedabad - Mumbai Vande Bharat train runs at 93.52 kmph average speed, there are so many trains running at 81 to 85 kmph average speed could be included but it's ok. 👍👍

Thanks for the video which was very entertaining as well as informative. But my only concern is, about the video which is north indian centric. The video doesnt cover about south India. Everything is about Delhi, Mumbai, Kanpur etc. Bangalore, Kerala, Andhra, Chennai trains and so on are not included which I believe is not 100% factual.

Bro there is a difference between up and down timing of Patna Tejas rajdhani Up takes 12:30 mins 12309 And down takes 12:05 mins 12310 And adding to this Sampoorna kranti and Tejas express UP takes same time

And I had already test the speed of train with railway speed tester app .... In 2018 the speed of ratnagiri express which was from Varanasi to Mumbai 😍 it was 131 kmph.....AVG speed of ratnagiri express

Top speed sirf documents pe hi 130kmph hai Reality me to ye trains 140 tak chali jaati hai 😂 Mai jab WBJEE ka exam dekar Sealdah - Ajmer SF express se aa rha tha tab raat me train ki maximum speed 142kmph tak chali gayi thi Aur vo bhi 5-10 minute tak 140-142 tak rhi thi Lekin baad me 135-138 ke beech rhi thi jabtak stop nahi aa gaya Aur pure travelling time me train 120+ hi rhi thi

If you search a bit deeply about these express trains so you will find that sealdah rajdhani express is faster than gatiman express due to its high kinetic energy which allows it move faster than Gatiman express

Very nice video, A lilttle miss read i would like to point out if you wanna correct it at 2:37 it is 1 thousand 4 hundred 57 but said 1 hundred and 57 kms.
