Hello Mayur sir, I have been a vivid follower of your channel! Always inspiring. I have 2x1x1 aquarium set up with bonsai and java moss. Currently, having 4 guppies and tetras and doing well. But, the hair algae’s have started to grow. What’s the best choice to clean up? Thinking about adding mollies, hope they don’t end up eating the java moss too! Kindly advice sir.

They are not very difficult, give them space to hide, like a cave, they like that and same with apistos

Very informative. You mentioned angelfish but didn't mention discus, my fav fish. It's my dream to keep a huge school of discus in a huge planted tank. Any specific reason for not including discus? Apart from the fact that they will eat up the shrimp?

Dont keep mollies, ottocinclus or socker cat fish, tetras' are ok you have to remember the mucus on the body of the discus is something other aggressive fish will eat, So best is not to keep other fish, but tetras will co exist, if the tetra is small the discus will eat them

Sir please reply I want to made 10 feet planted tank and want to add all small tetras,mollies,guppies,angel,discus,barbs all planted fishes but I have question like if any fish like molly or guppy gave babies in tank so ? Like I don't want babies Q1- can I add only males of all varities ? Q2- If I add male female then if babies happen then can I just left them in same tank for other fishes to eat ? Main motive is that I don't need babies in tank so can I add only males but will they fight ?

Q1- Yes you can Q2- Most tanks with guppies and mollies, add male and female and you will have babies, you tank will be like a large pond and as in nature some babies will survive and some will die so i guess they can be there

Would request two specific lessons under the fish series. It would great if you can accommodate these topics 1. Enlighten us with the Indian origin aquarium fishes. I understand the most names mentioned in this video are found in India too however are there any fishes only found in India or originated from India. 2. As you rightly say, “We are the God of our own scapes” Are there any aquarium fishes which are endangered or near to extinct in the wild. During the last year workshop you did mention one fish, preserved in your jungle scape (also help me with the name of fish) which is extinct in the wild and I guess found in Kerala. As a scaper can we contribute to the nature at least the vulnerable ones

Gavin I always enjoy reading you comments 1. I have been doing some homework on this subject and have collected some content too, but I need some more, so lets say soon we can see a video on Indian Fish 2.There are many such fish, during the British Raj, fish like Tilapia and Cat fish were added in to the rivers as food fish for the people. Now these are African species and they have over the time decimated a lot of the Indian species the other issue is Pollution of the rivers, Industrial, people washing trucks, clothes etc The Denisoni barb is the fish I spoke about, found in a particular location in karela and probably on the brink of extinction. As an Aquascaper the best contribution would be to spread the right word about the hobby to as many around you so that basic myths are broken and people can see the beauty of it

Depends on what fish you already house in the tank. Otocinclus, Shrimps, nerite snails are probably the best options.

Respected sir, Treatment for cardinal tetra. Mainly symptoms are Spine curved and fins are not look healthy..

There is no clear treatment for curved spine but for the fins, good water, good filter media so the tank is ammonia free and good food will make the fish healthier

The ideal size for a Nano is 30x30x30 or around that, Keep in mind the smaller the tan the more complications like rapid temperature fluctuation etc

There is no plant like that, any plant you use will grow for a couple of months and they slowly start to die
