Question of the video: "The Durret glitch" Whenever Dobbs talks about furret a ghost lady breaks your game and tells you about "the one", but only if you have a Psyduck in your team.
Pokemon glitches are like to me one of the most interesting things due to the unintended side effects of them. Like missingno which should probably be made into a cannon pokemon or make a pokemon movie about this mysterious pokemon. I mean I'd watch it.
I was going to say that would require some deep ass lore, like the Pokemon are all living in the Matrix, but then I remembered Porigon so yeah this could totally work
The "acid rain" glitch could cause a battle that could never end. If Castform or Cherrim hit the field while "acid rain" was in effect because those respective Pokemon have abilities that make them change form depending on the weather, and all weather was active at once, they would just start cycling through their forms over and over, infinitely. Since their abilities activate automatically and said activation happened before you could input any commands, there was no way to stop it.
@@tanzolimbu2982 Starter Squad is good in some aspects, but most of it isn't my thing: Bulbasaur being retarded, wearing the severed head of a dead Caterpie as a hat and basically being Charmander's slave; Charmander being an abusive asshole who mistreats everyone (way to ruin my favorite starter ever); Squirtle going on his own and barely ever running into the others... I personally think that the concept is awesome, but the execution is really poor.
Fun fact: An artist associated with the Pokémon TCG actually made artwork for MissingNo’s Glitch, Ghost, Kabutops and Aerodactyl forms. I think their name is TOKIYO.
My favorite Glitch has to be either the Pokémon Yellow glitch that allows you to fuse Pokémon. Or Hooked Metapod which happens in Red and Blue due to a certain glitch item.
@@wired_badger if you do The hooked dragonite glitch with a specific amount of specific items you can change the hooked dragonite to other hooked pokémon
GameFreak: Azure-Flute is too complicated we don't put it in the game!" Players: *solve braille for Legis, glitching Mew and Missingno, getting Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus with tweaking glitch finding douzens of other glitches* Come on just put Mew under that damn truck and give us Azure Flute and everyone is happy and we don't have to glitch every game to death -.- Greatings from germany ^^
For all of them excepr the first one, those were likely discovered thanks to cheats/people looking at the code of the game. Also Mew was bever intended to actually be under the truck, so why would they put it there?
@@Mqstodon they would do it just to screw with people and nostalgia, Nintendo did do a pre order bonus with sword and shield that involved quick balls😑
@@jeanpierre4370 The Pichu from the Pokémon Ranger series that has the blue ukulele. Much like the *Pikachu colored Pichu* and *Puka the blue eyed Pikachu* , the *Pichu that has the blue ukulele* was forgotten by everyone.
Regarding the ZZAZZ glitch, the exploding Bulbasaur's is just scratching the surface of what that glitch can do. When you mentioned the ditto requiring 251 special (this can easily be done by sending out your own 'Mon with 251 special and letting the Ditto transform), a different special creates a different effect. Most of them softlock your game, but many have very unique features, like being able to battle Prof. Oak who has a fully programmed party of pokemon. If you get the ditto to have 21 special you get the Mew battle, this is usually done by battling the kid with the Slowpoke above Cerulean since it has 21 special.
I remember hearing about #2 as a kid, but I didn't remember where in the game the corruption would be caused, so I just always saved in a pokémon center. Never ran into the issue in the end, thankfully.
See, I got past the glitch by never saving at all. Because the game was so easy I didn't even need the mechanic. I'm just kidding of course. I honestly didn't know about the glitch either because I never encountered it. I guess I just never saved in the city.
"It was unfortunate that X and Y didn't have DLC." Maybe, but the first games that had DLC had features stripped to accommodate for DLC, and that's not cool.
RosesBubble you have to pay thirty fucking dollars for your Pokémon to follow you. A feature people have wanted to return for YEARS since heartgold/soulsilver. Fucking hell gamefreak
@@morganpriest7726 It isn't just a pokemon following you. It's much more, and we still have more things coming with Crown Tundra. I personally think the Isle of Armor is pretty good DLC, having played through it, and the Pokemon following thing is epic. But saying it's 30 dollars for just a pokemon following you is kind of stupid.
My goodness! I used to watch your videos when I was little; you don't know how glad it makes me to see you're still making 'em to entertain a new generation of Pokéfans :) the nostalgia is UNBEARABLE!
Btw:In the ZZAAZZ Glitch the Charzard that you fight is actually another form of MissingNo. for it has inf hp and (in another channel) they call the Charzard MissingNo.
The "E.T." glitch in Pokémon Sword and Shield. You clip into a certain tree by interacting with it while on your bike, then shaking until a Pokémon drops down. After you finish the battle, you can move into the tree. You can either wait until the next day, or perform a day-skipping glitch (don't know of any of these have been patched) so you can get new berries from the tree. If you position yourself correctly, when you do the glitch with the tree again, you should be pushed into the cliff. You can now go out of bounds, but I'd you abuse the nearby cliff correctly, you can gain practically infinite height. By flying around, you can see motostoke from above, get to the "wild area" you see from the bridge at the right of motostoke etc.
If i recall, there was actually a glitch in generation 1 that was even more busted than the Pomeg Berry that it could literally let you run custom code allowing you to make your own programs to run through glitches in Pokemon. Yea, at that point... I think that takes the cake for just how broken something can be.
*EPILEPSY WARNING: There are a couple flashes at **6:00** and **6:01**, then more between **6:10** and **6:16** which could be dangerous. PLEASE LIKE TO KEEP OTHERS SAFE!*
For acid rain, you didn't mention that if a castform is sent in while acid rain is active forecast will keep on trying to transform castform into each weather effect forever, and so then you become softlocked. I'm pretty sure acid rain was banned from competitive play too.
More on the ZZAZZ Glitch: The reason why your party Pokemon and their moves change is because they all share the hex number of 153. This is the hex number of Bulbasaur, Explosion, level 153, the letter Z, and so on. For some reason anything with a variable of 3 isn't affected.
There's a glitch in the Hoenn spinoff game, Pokemon Colosseum, most often referred to as the Master Ball Glitch. Basically, you can have an infinite amount of any Pokeball you want, all you need are two different kinds of Pokeballs in your bag. This works because all the battles in the game are double battles, and you steal other trainers' Pokemon in order to purify them, since no wild battles exist. To pull this off, perform the following: 1. On the first Pokemon's turn, go into your bag and select the desired ball you want to throw. 2. Select the opposing shadow Pokemon as your target (your companion will not let you pick a normal Pokemon). 3. On the second Pokemon's turn, go back into your bag. 4. Go to the balls pocket and swap the position of the ball you previously selected with another one. 5. Exit your bag and have the second Pokemon do whatever. 6. After throwing the ball and eventually returning to your next turn, go into your bag and you'll see that the ball you just used was NOT consumed. You can do this with any type of ball, provided you have at least two different ones, but is mostly used once you receive the Master Ball from Eagun in Agate Forest. You can perform this glitch to capture any remaining shadow Pokemon with little to no effort. And earlier on, you can do this to save money on buying Pokeballs.
(10:32) hey dobbs, can you please do a re-recording? some pixel ghost girl interrupted your video right when you were going to talk about the god furret glitch
How would double immunity even work? Would it just be the same as single immunity or would the attack bounce back at the user because the target is so immune to it
You kinda left out a fairly important detail about the ZZAZZ glitch- the little part where if you save your game and reset after kicking it off, your save file is gone.
He didn't. He just thought 10 glitches were better than MissingNo, including a Top Secret Glitch even we can't access. (Or that glitch is just a rumor. Your guess is as good as mine honestly...)
Acid rain should be a new ability. Imagine a pokemon with that ability, making all the weathers for 3 to six turns, then he could be paired with any weather abusers, Excadril, Mega Swampert, Venusaur, etc. Fun mon.
Melee player here, adding onto #8: There's also 2 additional glitched ledges you can grab *inside* the stage's floor if you manage to clip through it in some way. The ledges are directly next to the regular ledges, and face inwards towards the center of the stage. Video evidence of it is out there, it's very weird!!
Youngster Joey's ratata was suposed to have 6 IV-s on every stat. However the game couldent handel it on an npc so youngster Joey's ratata is the weakest in the game.
ProTip, you can only perform the Pomeg Glitch in Emerald. Its because the Pomeg Berry was only used as a pokeblock ingredient in Ruby and Saphhire and did not lower EVs
The pomeg berry glitch is in emerald, not ruby and sapphire. The pomeg berry was just used for poké blocks in ruby/sapphire and was given its effect in emerald
Did you know that Pokémon Glitches were actually exist in the game and able to break it through? Hehe I guess, hoping to gain some likes for first time😁
*tries telling a temperamental Bulbasaur to use Skull Bash* Bulbasaur: "YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" One of the few times Explosion is both figurative and literal in Pokemon. XD
Aaaaa gosh i just wish more people would talk about that one glitch pokemon able to fuse 2 pokemon into 1 in pokemon yellow, i think the pokemon itself was a glitch pokemon named "Q", its incredibly interesting and id wish more people talked bout it!
I just wanted to give a shout out to your video description, no for real I hate it when I can't find the music used in videos, especially when it's about pokemon music. You really did well on that part 👍
Found this on bulbapedia: "In Sun and Moon, a glitch can cause a Pokémon to become stuck in an "undead" invulnerable state when Sky Drop is used. The glitch is activated when Sky Drop is used on a Pokémon using Spiky Shield. Spiky Shield will damage the Pokémon using Sky Drop, but the game does not recognize the move. This makes the attacking Pokémon reach 0 HP and completely skip its turn and all moves used against this glitched Pokémon fail."
