In this X-Plane 11 video, I will provide you with my list of the top 10 general aviation aircraft for X-Plane. Please do note that this is my list (my opinion). Also please note that I am not doing any paid promotions here. I have paid for all the aircraft shown in this video.
Note: All aircraft shown in this video are available for purchase at the X-Plane org store with the exception of the TBM 900 which you can find at the X-Aviation store.

Hey man no shame in wanting to learn and fly many planes! Much cheaper than in real life! I have not flown for 14 years and soon going to reativate my CPL ME IR. X-Plane has kept me fresh!

I have been able to acquire planes which you reviewed that I would never have known about, the PA-140 is one of them and one of my favorite AC to fly. Hello, I must say that I agree with you regarding the first place on the list. TBM 900 is amazing, I do not own all of the planes from the list, but I would be really surprised if TBM900 was not the best GA addon for X-plane. Regards.

Congratulations, great video. In my opinion, two fantastic planes were missing: 2nd Place Embraer-110 Bandeirantes (Dreamfoil Creations) and 4th Place Epic E1000 (Aerobask).

As much as I like the E1000 I've flown right seat in one a few times and it is not quite on par with these. Solid top 15 GA plane though.

Interesting video, thanks :) While we will all have our own top 10 I think that all of the planes you mentioned that I have bought would make my top 10. I would, perhaps, put the Cherokee 140 at the top of my list - while it's obviously not technically as advanced as the TBM it has something very special. That begs the question of why I don't have the vFlyteAir Twin Comanche - something I will rectify soon. It makes me very happy that there are so many excellent GA planes in XP that only 1 Just Flight plane made your top 10!

Thanks for the video. I'm fairly new to xp11 and I'm still a noob when it comes to flying. Luckily I have a veteran teaching me and he recommended for me to get the King air, which I now own. I love this plane, it's really lovely to fly. He's also recommended me to get the tbm900, lol. That's gonna be my next purchase :)

Another GA aircraft that is extremely well done and which I highly recommend is the JustFlight C152. I just got it today and it looks and flies so great.

@@Q8Pilot The clock is quite nice. as is the refuelling, but having spent a bit of time with the SP-30 I still prefer the SF260. Everyone has different tastes though I guess.

I love X-Plane! The TBM 900 has fulfilled my dreams of flying this bird ever since I saw the TBM 700 on the cover of Flying magazine in 1989. I flew GQYI Piper arrow III in real life so I absolutely had to buy it! I am a big Javiar Rollin fan so buying the SF-260 was a no brainer. I have to get that twin Comanche but I already have more planes than time to fly.

Donald Traill Pocket Rocket is awesome. Top 2 of GA top 3 over all for me. If you get one go fast hit shift +2 and thank me later.

I wish I was a fan of the TBM. I like flying it but have had so many problems with it. It stays hangared these days. I fly the E1000...not so in depth but it scratches the itch and gives me no issues.

Mostly hot starts. For no reason I can see. I always do a proper shutdown and at least one real-world pilot said he's never had one. But, also, incompatibility with plugins. I have to disable any traffic plugin. Seems strange to always have to fly this one airplane in empty airspace.

As a pilot I fly a Cherokee 235 with a constant speed prop! What can I find that will help me simulate this? I also have a Garmin 530 WAAS and Stec 30 auto pilot!

I think that the King Air 350 is the number 1 of all x plane 11! Better than all airbusses and boeings and they are already ok but the KA is taking the place for me :)👍🤪

In my opinion, I think the Just. Flight Archer is better than the Warrior. In terms of flight dynamics, but visually the Archer lacks age. It looks too new.

Everyone knew who number one was! The KA350 would be higher if AFL fixed the bugs and did something with the FMC. I'm sad that it feels like AFL built it and then said, ok were done! There is still a few things that need to be done to it.

Is the Hot Start TBM 900 VR capable? I went to the developers website and read everything they published in the details about this plane but saw nothing about VR, I even searched the page for vr and nothing came up. Thanks for any info you might have!

I've personally been using it in VR for two weeks now and I can tell you it's fantastic in VR. It's the only plane I've seen where if you click on one of the computer systems it'll actually open a window for it in vr and allow you to grab that window and place it somewhere. Makes it easier to program the computers and stuff in lower resolution VR headsets.
