I actually really like PBG's singing. But maybe that's because short pointless songs amuse the hell out of me. But my favorite was the Onox song where he really seemed to be trying to sing well.
Whenever I hear "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas" on the radio I can't help but think of this video. Which is why I'm here today in the middle of December.
Onox song lyrics: "Onox is.... A really, really bad guy. And he's really tall, spin your sword around, And kick his spiky balls (Kick his balls for me, one more time, heh, you got it.) Way past Christmas and i'm still sitting here, still doing Zelda stuff..... OOPS, but, I should probably get Back to saving Din, and her shiny bracelet hoops! (Seriously those things are a little bit eccentric.) When he's dead, the floor starts caving under, like that Mario Party game. Then he's a dragon for some reason! And you must take your aimmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... To hit his gems, and, something, something, something, KILL HIMmmmmmmmmmm...
Dang, that’s crazy. I’m 23 and a new dad to a beautiful little girl! I remember watching this ten years ago, so oblivious to the changes that this ten years would bring. Sure doesn’t feel like it’s been any time at all tho.. 😅
I know that this list is 2 years old, but after beating the 3DS version of Twinmold in Majora's Mask, my God do I feel like a badass. It'd be in my top 10, hell even top 5.
After completing Majora's Mask 3D I noticed I fought Goht the most too, I think it's because you actually need to defeat him to make spring happen in the mountains which opens up a lot of side quests! The only other boss that does this is Gyorg for the island jumping minigame but you can do that quickly after your first time anyway!
5:30 Onox is a really... Really bad guy. And he's reaaaaaaalllllly tallll. Spin your sword around, and kick his spiky ballllllls. Way past Christmas and I'm sitting here... Still doing Zelda stuff... Oops. But I should probably get back to saving Din... And her giant braaaaaacelet hooooooops... When you win, the floor starts caving under, like that mario party game. Then he's a dragon for some reason(?) and you must take your aiiiiiim. Then, hit his gem. And something, something... Kill hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim.
The first time I watched this video I was finishing my second year of college. 10 years later I have graduated, got married and live in another country, but this video still lives rent free in my mind. Specially the Onox christmas song and the spinner from TP. What a great way of reviving Zelda month than watching old videos
I'm here because I rewatched this for the first time in a few years a week ago or so, and I've had that dang Onox parody song stuck in my head for the past few days. Good Lord.
I remember watching this video early morning at my grandma's house Doing the same visiting my grandma a decade later 😭 The vibes are immaculate to this day
Holy crap. Guys, he wasn’t lying. The 500 IS in there somewhere. Time on video when he finishes saying that sentence is 1:54. 154 plus 66 rupees, plus 6 keys, plus 3 bombs, and if you count each heart he has as 30, and the one random bullet from Gleeok as one, then... 154 + 66 + 6 + 3 + 270 + 1 = 500. I can’t believe it.
Just wanna say, I really like yuga AND his 3 boss fights, especially the last one while he's fused with ganon. I also really enjoyed the big flower thing fight. And pbg's singing.
YES!!!!! The DS Zelda games (specifically the Phantom Hourglass) are my first and favorite Zelda games, and I can't wait to here you talk about them more.
I can't get to gatorade in Jabu Jabu's belly. And that really ruffles my jimmies. I've played many a Zeldas. But I have never beaten one. With and without walkthroughs, I can't do it. Either it's too confusing, too hard, or my lack of patience doesn't allow me to do so.
The first time I watched this video, i didn't understand english very well, and didn't get half of what he said, but it still made me laugh. Now I come back with better english understanding, and I don't regret those ignorant moments of laughter. Great video.
really happy to see the Oracle games show up. x3. I had Oracle of Ages as a kid, and absolutely ADORED it (and have since also played Seasons). and I'm always sad to see them overlooked as much as they are.
To hit his gem and something, something, something killed him! (Thank you for not closing the video everybody, I appreciate it. Merry late Xmas, I am sorry!!!) BYE
Boom boom I got your face Boom boom I died in the corner Boom boom Fireworks XD XD XD XD XD Sand I command thee by the power of the very creatively named wand I'm holding, become BIG SAND!!! XD XD XD XD XD Surfing on the wall here! Its really fun!! Im surfing on the wall here! Surfing really good... XD XD XD XD XD
pbg, i just wanna say ive had a terrible night tonight, and your videos never fail to cheer me up. i know with youtubes new policies things are looking grim..but dont ever change
Ok, GREAT point about Goht. Almost every other Zelda boss takes an exact method and or/sequence of actions to defeat, bit with Goht you have a lot of options. You can use Goron to harry his ankles, go off jumps to knock him down, you can ambush him with bombs, you can attack with sword or Goron equally effectively when he's stunned, I think you can choose to use arrows, and that's not even touching on the unique ways you can use the track as a Goron both to pursue Goht and Dodge good attacks, from ricocheting off walls to cutting corners tight.
Crikey... I love your Zelda vids so much! Have you ever thought of doing the top ten (or maybe five) best Links? I mean, it is sort of the same guy, but let's be honest, he is different in each game. He has a generally relatable/plain personality, but there are differences. Anyway, just a thought. If I'm having a crappy day, I watch your Wind Waker hack vid. So funny!
top five links: 1. Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask 2. Twilight Princess 3. Skyward Sword 4. Windwaker/Phantom Hourglass 5. A Link to the Past/Oracle of Ages,Seasons
I never thought Koloktos would be on the list, as being one of the overlooked bosses because of how old Skyward sword is, but Koloktos is still my favorite boss by a LANDSLIDE
Barinade was one of the most memorable boss for me since you fight it before getting the master sword turning into Adult Link and it was one of the last bosses as Young Link (If you don't count the iron knuckle from the Spirit Temple).
If Koloktos was a 6 year old girl then. Why would she sit in a temple all alone and its a robot (Automaton oar whateves) AND SHES GOT FRIKIN SWORDS EVERYWHERE.
Unfortunately, no. Just cursed boblokins (Boplokins? How do you spell it? Whatever). They are typically much harder to kill (30 or so sword hits to kill one regardless of your sword, or a fatal blow) but they only take three hits to kill in the boss battle.
Well, thank you for such a wonderful song; I really appriciate it! T'was a very late Christmas, but you softened my heart with your voice. No beatings for you this year
