Effective Magicka Element Combinations That Are Not In This Video: SQFQFQFA (Steam laser that has one of the highest(if not the highest) damage per second in the game. Also wets the target) EASF (Ward that will protect against most harmful spells (excluding anything that is not fire, arcane, or lightning).) EDDQRQR (Rock ice armor that is every so slightly weaker than rock armor vs physical but noticably tougher vs everything else. Melts easily with fire and does massive damage when things try to jump on you.) DSQ (or any ability that wets the target) + SDR(Spam after wet/frozen) This will freeze the enemy. If continued to use on a frozen enemy, it will keep the said enemy frozen and will deal massive damage. EQFQFQFA (a steam barrier enchanted with lightning. This wets any target that comes into it as well as dealing lightning damage with the wet bonus to the enemy targets.) DQRQRQRQR (A spiked boulder than, when fully charged, can deal up to 10000 damage( assuming the target is unarmored)) NOTE: I have noticed this can be fairly hard to hit with. That combined with its relatively hard-to-cast spell combination make it not ideal for most situations. DSQQQ (A water arcane boulder that is capable of extreme knockback. This is best used against weak monsters who are susceptible to knockback (such as goblins). Does damage by knocking a monster into a wall.)
ESDF wall mines are pretty good too, exchanging the F for R can also be done. Also i saw that he summoned elementals yet they weren't in the top ten spells. You can summon an infinite amount of them and and give them different elements before the battle, then wreak havoc on all. Its a fool proof strategy to just let the elementals do all the work for you.
4 steam and 1 lightning is a good spray combination; soaks and electrocutes at the same time. Has adequate reach and easier to turn with than if you used steam + arcane + lightning
Rogue Mage + Knife of counter striking + Grandfather's clock + Haste + QRQRQRDS shield self cast. You kill instantly most enemies, takes about 1 second running in circles to the enemies with high armor. The only opponents i recall who were immune to this were the yetis and the only drawback is that you re really vulnerable to fire spells. Unfortunately Knife and clock combo is available only in challenges as knife is on the main quest while the clock in the Dungeons & Daemons dlc.
not many defensive moves though. I forgot the combo, but i used to make a shield for myself with arcane and earth, (the shield element is in here ofc) and some other stuff, it made me quite durable
I personally like arcane steam lightning on your weapon chain it with teleport and you get a lightning sword that makes people wet and a way to get close to them and use it
my fav is basicly QE cast on self, followed by tunderstorm, instantly followed by AE the first one protects you from water, start the thunderstorm, with the water resistance you can still cast lightning resistance in the rain and viola, lightning can hit you all it likes but it wont destroy you, perfect for wiping out pretty much anything
I personally love spamming df and shift right click, it's taken out the largest groups of enemies, or even better SDF and area cast, that burns them, and knocks them down while doing tons of damage, it's gotta be on of the best
QFAAAE+Shift + left click = Squall line QFAAAE + Shift + right click = Storm shield both spells applies soaking effect and electrocutes, great when followed up with frost spray
RQ-RQ-RQ-DE -> Selfcast + haste + (knife of counter striking / rouge robe) = an unstoppable force. This combo lets you run into and out the other side of any enemies, objects or allies. It basically made the whole game to easy and remove any fun from playing with inexperienced friends.
Ah, the nostalgia of this little marvel of a game~ My favs tho: QREAAA will create electric iceblocks that deal obscene lightning damage (cant remember if enemies have to be wet tho...). QFEAAA will create steampatches that make enemies wet along with more absurd levels of lightning damage. QREASA will create explosive ice similar to the rank one in this vid (I think). Run away or load into sword to avoid suicide. QRASA beam that does absolutely absurd damage to wet targets. use in combo with QFE steampatches and bait enemies into them to make them wet for easymode.
i simply spawned stone flaming walls when fighting the snake, every time it pops up, reaches for you or does any other action it hits the rocks and damages itself XD, might not finish the fight in 2 shots but still worth it and funny to watch
EQRASF is a shield you can put on yourself that protects from both wet and lightning, making you immune to thunderstorm. Might seem OP but then again, it has 6 elements ;-)
Plo1154 There's an exploit there where if Ice turns into Water, any lightning already present doesn't get cancelled out. Another example would be the following attack: You can cast a lightning attack as follows: QRAAAAF (Ice, four Lightning and Fire). It will be a range 4 lightning spell that will, in addition to lightning damage, also deal water damage (which includes minor knock-back against smaller enemies). QFAAAA (Steam plus Lightning) might sound more powerful and seem to have similar effects but this spell is a spray rather than a cascading lightning strike.
QR - Ice Ice and be in one spell with A (lightning) but Ice + F - Q and Q + A - nothing so first spell would be AAA only really and 2nd is good because I abuse FQASASA (steam, 2 arcane and 2 lightning) :v
Plo1154 Just try for yourself the following: Get Ice, Lightning and then add Fire (QRAF). You'll see that your element wheel has Water and Lightning in that order. Lightning will be cancelled if you add water. However, we're not adding water, we're turning ice into water. This is what avoids the cancellation from occurring.
course then the shield will run out before thunderstorm stops, if you do the thunder shield directly after you do thunderstorm then the shield will last exactly as long as the thunderstorm (just a little longer) preventing the thunderstorm from exploding you just at the last second when your shield stops working.
yep. farts the enmy pretty far when stepped on Simon: Casts ARSE, proceeds to step. *BOOM**flies to the end of the map, bypassing all enemies* Lewis: "Well thats ONE way of skipping ahead."
When i make a Giant shield around me i also make a healing mine field, activate it and my shield is full :D It's a great way of healing your shield, i guess it's actually the best one :D
If you leave out a single Ice from the last one you can add in Cold to chill them. You still get the explosion damage, which is what you want. QRASER Make sure you're immune to arcane, cold, and lightning though (ASER)
QRQRSSE exploding ice boulders, they do ice damage to anything touching them, for however long they continue to touch that target, and then they explode
The best thing I've been able to make is qrqrqrde plus rouge robes or knife of counter striking plus haste does like 2600 damage by just running into an enemy. Also somehow can hit demons no matter what realm their in
E QR QR D D + middle mouse is a sheild that withstands all but the strongest physical atacks E QR QR A S + shift + left mouse zaps enemies then explodes
1st active def; QQERDD, c.clic 2nd active RAIN (if you can) 3rd attack with; "QRQRRAS, r.clic" and "RASSS, Shift+r.clic" (slow mobs effect) verry cool with RAIN is active (Freeze mobs effect and more dps) Heal; WE, Shift+r.clic
q-f-q-f-q-f-q-f-a is like a flamethrower but with electricity. It just sort of murders everything inside it. q-f-a-s-e-r is the best shield I have found if you want to be immune to a lot of elements. This is just the best I have done, but I'm not a really hardcore player O-o. Also, w-d-d-d-d shift+right click looks awesome.
Now i just have to test these on the Enderdragon in the Minegicka Mod (A Minecraft Mod that adds Magicka spell casting combos into the game). Who's with me????
enchant your weapon (summon up the elements then shift+left click = enchanted sowrd) it works with all elements, try testing some out. E + (shift+leftclick) is good for pvp if someone is hiding behind a shield, as the opposite of a shield is another shield, hence, you can cancel their shield out instead of using thunderbolt or ddddd to get rid of it. Just a few tips to a fellow mage :)
You must first infuse your sword with the power of the magicka ! (sounds too RP...) anyway, Shift + Melee (normaly left click for melee) then you use it again, or something like that.
WWWWE is actually quite awful imo and there is something literally hundreds of times easier to cast and better. I suggest using QWER (shift left click) it only requires to use all of the top spells and it summons super exploding ice healing things that fully heal after 2 rocks.
@skankjochem Simon: so what would lightning, ice, arcane, shield do??? Totalbiscuit:O NOOOO! SIMONS FOUND A NEW SPELL, FOR GODS SAKE. and then when they are defeating death, Simon: huurray! slow time slow time Lewis: I'D RATHER HAVE AIDS THAN THAT SLOW SPELL!!!
