Unfortunately I agree. With a universe like Star Wars I often like to see different takes and ways at approaching the universe but yeah Filoni And Favreau seem to be the only ones that approach it right at all.
@Κώστας Παπαναστασίου Rian Johnson, director of Episode 8: The Last Jedi, wrote Luke Skywalker in the most pathetic of ways; making him a bitter old man instead the most powerful jedi in the galaxy as he originally was. Not to mention that Rian killed the character off, which pissed everyone off

I don't get why Boba Fett and Bo Katan have a history, unless it's over the dispute of simply being Mandalorian. Is there something that happens between the two?
Basically "Grogu eating everything he can get his claws on". And why did the cable seen did not get a small mention as absolutely the best filler scene - does nothing for the plot, but so much for character development

@@eimearfitzsimons2429 I think (but don't know for sure) they mean that Boba Fett in the OT wasn't that badass. It was his armor that viewers loved. In the original Expanded Universe (now Legends), that's where he earned his status as a great character.

What I loved about this season (and The Mandalorian in general) is the elaboration on the Sand People and their society. It makes them more interesting and relatable compared to before when they were portrayed as just heartless killers.
"Daisy's character, what's her name?" ~Mark Hamill Had to put it there when I recalled one stars war convention stream when Mark was speaking with the fans.
But the sequel trilogy wasn't about giving Luke justice. A large part of the sequels was about falling and then rising. Ben fell to the dark side then rose out of it. Luke fell to moral ambiguity when he was afraid of Ben's power, but then rose out of it by the end of the movie to redeem himself. If we only get what we want from movies instead of being challenged by the story's themes and messages, what is the point of them in the first place. The Last Jedi didn't feel like traditional Star Wars, but what's so bad about that?
@@sebastianhaney1425 Because it didnt make any sense and was an insult to one of the most beloved and central characters in the franchise....and a huge slap in the face to fans. And shat on established lore and story just for the luls and had whole storylines just going absolutely nowhere for most of the movie. It was just an all around REALLY BAD movie.

Character Assassinating legacy character and nullifying their achievements to hand them to your new OC pet character Rey isn't good "challenging" writing. Its disrespectful and selfish writing. Undoing past movies made by better writing to prop up your own.

When I was watching the season two finale with my family I jokefully said “what if that x-wing is Luke’s” half a minute later and I was bouncing in my seat barely containing my excitement.
LOL! I don't know about anybody else but the worry face and manners of the frog lady really touched me. I felt for her so much when Din told her there wasn't anything they can do until daylight and for her to get some sleep. She was so worried and it was so sad.
When I saw the Jedi in the halls, I had all kinds of theories rushing through my mind as to who it could be. Ahsoka? Mace? Luke? I had no idea. That is, until I saw that emerald blade and black gloved hand. I nearly pissed myself in shock.
Honestly? My favorite moment was watching actual fans react to Luke Skywalker‘s appearance. I very rarely get to see any fandom be completely overjoyed, and it was a pleasure to watch some of their reactions online.
Fun fact: The Dark Trooper was not just a new addition to SW cannon. The Dark Trooper was originaly a Legacy character, first introduced in the videogame Star Wars Dark Forces.
Everyone’s favorite character was Han Solo from the original but my favorite was always Luke and I’ve waited my whole life to see Luke kick some serious ass. Also a plus was seeing boba fett kick ass. Like Robert Rodriguez said fans have waited their entire life to see Boba Fett in action and I wasn’t going to disappoint. So thank you Dave and Jon for making me feel like a kid again.

Sooner or later (in the not-too-distant future), the powers that be shall, no doubt, proceed to attach it to intelligent life from not of this world; not of this life-sustaining celestial object. That day henceforth, the aforenamed noun's indefinite lack of a discernable, unambiguous, relatively-contemporary correspondence shall be complete. Either way, it's true that Bo-Katan certainly can be ruthless when she deems it necessary in order to fulfill a profound duty or objective. Yessir indeed. She's a Mandalorian, that much is certain. OR... Perhaps Jar Jar decided to start over because his promotion to 'Bombbad General' by Boss Nash was too boring.

That last episode was a massive feels trip! I cried when Grogu and Din had their good bye moment. I hope Grogu returns to Din after his Force training!!
The coolest and awesome moment is Luke skywalker appears in the final episode of mandalorian and he took Grogu to take it home and Grogu he said goodbye a sad moment in the series
It is beyond my imagination that this series has come to pass. In 1976 I remember thinking during the bicentennial celebrations, what ever happened to that movie I saw the trailer for with the spaceships and stuff.. Most people had forgotten about those early Star Wars trailers Then it unleashed itself in 1977 and nothing was ever the same for me again. I saw Star Wars 37 times that year and stood in a mile long line for each showing. Since the original trilogy I have watched program after program continuing the Star Wars story but nothing that came along had the same feels for me as the original trilogy. Until now. The Mandalorian is the Star Wars of the original series. It gives me those feels. Thank you Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni for giving me my childhood back if only briefly I can never repay you for this, you will have my undying gratitude until the end of my days.
It just clicked with me! The reason Grogu likes the shiny ball from the Razorcrest cockpit? He remembers R2. It has a familiar, comforting pattern to him. It's like a vague childhood memory for him, indistinct, but strong. That's why he connects with the shiny ball with the blue decals. Grogu is recalling the kindly quirky R2 droid from his early years in the Jedi Temple. Oh man, Filoni really has outdone himself. The depth and levels to this series are just awesome.
1st season needed to be less better to introduce main characters, build up emotion and direction. No good series ever had a first season greater than the second.
I know it's not strictly relevant but that Shoretrooper with the "What the hell did I just walk into?" body language is just a great comedic cut in that scene with Mayfield and Hess.
Okay predictions: Luke’s scene, Ahsoka intro, Boba dropping the bomb, bill burr blowing up the factory or shooting the guy. Those should be on the list

Totally agree with the top 3. Though I would’ve put the dark saber battle in place of the spiders. I keep coming back to that Boba Fet action scene. And that whole last scene with Luke showing up and Din showing Grogu his face gave me all the chills and tears. And R2 just made me even more emotional. I mostly held it together until Luke started walking away with Grogu and he and Din just kept maintaining eye contact until the last moment with Luke making sure Grogu got one last look at his father figure. It took me several days to recover after that. And the audio description made it even worse. First time I cried from this show. Even when Ahsoka showed up. However, I did lose my mind when Bo first appeared. This is the way! For this list, we’ll be looking at scenes in the second season of "The Mandalorian" that had us jumping up out of our seats like a lightsaber from an Astromech Droid’s head - whether thanks to shock, nostalgia, or excitement! Ok, who cried when Grogu left Mando in the season 2 final?? I did I hope for more Ahoska but with her horns and head-tails longer just like in Rebels. It would also be cool to see her and Luke together, telling him about her's and Anakin relationship, as he was like a big brother to her. If Ahsoka does get a spinoff, it should end with her death as Rey heard her spirit's encouragement. As Luke's entry was surprising, the next and all-season finale should be like that for us all. I like the list, but for me, I will remove the spider one from 6th because I didn't feel like it was a moment, I will move up Bilburr snaps from 7th to 6th and put something else in 7th. Maybe Ahsoka saying Thrawn, razorcrest destroyed. But I definitely want to add Mando vs. Moff or Mando vs. Darktrooper somewhere in the higher part of the list saying Mando uses Beskar spear or something. Anyway loved the video 👍👍👍Bo-Katan Kryze in the Flesh. Was a huge jaw-dropping for me. She is awesome. I have to say, when Din fought off one of the dark troopers, they reminded me of Terminators. We all knew what number one was going to be and this is a great list but Mando taking off his helmet for Grogu to see his face should have gotten its own spot on the list. I get that y'all put it together with Luke Skywalker, who definitely deserved the number-one spot but come on. Grogu getting to finally see what Mando looks like has massive significance for their father-son type relationship. Filoni and Favreau should be the only people touching anything Star Wars over at Disney from here on out. Excellent season finale. Luke Skywalker, shows us that there is nothing more dangerous than a Skywalker in a hallway. Din Djarin fighting Moff Gideon and winning the Darksaber should have been on this list. Honestly? Number one is more than enough to make a grown man cry. The second cara dune said one x wing, I flipped tf out, knowing it was Luke. I literally tossed my chair to the floor and fell down in disbelief
Honestly, the only complaint I have is that I want to see more...and that is a good thing. People are not exaggerating when they say this show is a must see; it does everything so well.
