This is so inspiring! Much love & respect from your neighbor Nagaland. Hope to work more closely to make the region a true hub of innovation & creativity. Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much. Keep spreading the positive energy. Cheers!
They were great alone before colonization so it will still be great if we were annexed and get independence maybe initially we might suffer in the long run I don't think so@@tessarexxa
Admire the resilience of these startups in navigating such challenging times. It's inspiring to see entrepreneurship striving to bring innovation and hope amidst adversity. May ALLAH give them strength and success in rebuilding and contributing positively to all the communities. Manipur Ema na Yaiphare ✊
A state that can be flourished peacefully with such bright minds have been destroyed by the greedy folks from outside but despite of it we can surely rise up to the glory of all! ꯏꯃꯥ ꯂꯩꯕꯥꯛ ꯅ ꯌꯥꯏꯐꯔꯦ!❤ Love you all my fellow Manipuris😢
I am from Manipur and to be honest about startup in Manipur Many people will try to break you down coz I can say that some people will always watch your growth See I cant tell you straight but this is the reality We have to pay 5 times for taxes to these people just for us to survive and its even more harder to export or import products from here unless its done on flight
Absolutely blown away by the diverse startups in Manipur, from FOOD APPS to ECO FRIENDLY BAGS TO MEDICAL PROSTHETICS by indigenous people. Simply amazing. Manipur na Yaiphara!
This is called marketing strategy. If you want to be successful, take advantage of Indians by fooling them. Take advantage of population, English learners and foreign attraction.🤬🤬
You have done a commendable job, I really don't have any idea about all these companies. Just 2 of them are familiar to me but through your video I got to know more. Thanks
Manipur is Good in Every field, people of this state had so much potential, not only in sports but also in Education, Innovation, Business and startups, Creativity, etc compared to other states in Northeast, If the Government pays more attention to Manipur, It can be a leading hub for everything in the Northeast ❤
Thank you for sharing , really appreciate 👍 . If you look at Manipur is blessed with lots of wonderful talent and resilience in one at the top! My best wishes to everyone. Personally, I also know few others like KOK SAM LAI (catering to school needs on the daily activities) and Soutification (SF delivery)

With heavy heart we are witnessing the decline of economic activities due to bloody Kukies. I can't imagine there would be anyone who wish to forgive these destructive people
Agree but that is only possible when porous border are shield and block illegal immigrants from Myanmar and Bangladesh. They destroying the law and order, forest and local market. If only Indian government listen native people of Manipur this violence could have been avoided. Common people in Manipur want peace but politics from within the country and from outside is making it impossible.
@sjsvilliangaming6280 well Kuki illegal immigrants should go back to Myanmar than peace will return in Manipur automatically. They not only infiltrate inside the Indian territory but RU-vid comments section also. Time to tackle this menace hoax imposter.
@sjsvilliangaming6280 Tell these to your so called heroes who is looting the highway in the name of protecting you but in reality they are looting us all
We sense movement in the Imphal airport but we ignored it because when we think deep what is the benefit of killing innocent people but if you hv that mindset don't think we will not turn the table@sjsvilliangaming6280
@sjsvilliangaming6280you’re no one to stop anyone travelling in their own state, let nrc be done base on 1951 ,border fencing then only Manipur will flourish into development.
For this video, lots of WhatsApp networking with Manipur startup founders! Almost all of the companies featured were referred to us by folks in the local ecosystem, and then we cross-verify with available resources online. -Caleb
I'm from Manipur and Startup Hit Me hard, I was in my final year of my college life in 2022, I had some saving so I decided to start a business which will help the Local unemployed youths so I applied for startup India but End up ending as a scam, I got approved it was in the third stage but startup loan never come to my Account instead of getting startup loan I end up paying them I had to pay some amount for the loan as a young Entrepreneur it hit me hard... The rest is history... I will never forget that Meitei guy who scammed me my early Adulthood when we live the particle Life finding jobs, depression,Careers.. after finishing with theoretical bookish knowledge Be careful, there are many scams these days.
Erang loisallase. Chaokhatminarase. Akhoi apangba masen hattoknabase tok ase. Where there is socio-political unrest, economic growth is impossible. We can prosper and better each other's lives only if we live together peacefully. And live together peacefully, we must. ✊🏽
Let me be frank, there is a massive support for Startups in India and you did not mention a single time that Startup India exists except first demographic. It gives grants, debt free funding etc to qualifying startups which have a good product or plan. So GoI directly supports the startup culture irrespective of where you are. I am part of 4 such startups and we have raised over 2 crore.
Hi Dejikay, we always ask founders in our questionnaire for these Top 10 videos about the capital they have raised, be it VC, grants (government-issued or otherwise), or debt. If we have not mentioned specific grants in the video, it isn't because we're trying to hide the fact that they raised grants - it is simply because either 1. the startup has not availed any such grants, or 2. they did not tell us about it. Watch our most recent Shark Tank India video, where we specifically called out the fact that Qzense Labs raised Rs. 50 lakh through the BIRAC BIG Grant scheme from GOI: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NMvB8oLiDlg.htmlsi=y5PbSMq1yQLWeWRN&t=733 timestamps is 12 minutes 13 seconds. Qzense specifically asked us to include this detail because it was something they were proud of and wanted the world to know about. Also, unfortunately in NE India lack of awareness about these grants is a major issue. There's a lot of capital to be grabbed, but not enough people choose to grab it! It also doesn't help that many startups in this region of the country opt to keep a low profile and not register themselves as startups under DPIIT. This is something ecosystem spokespeople are trying to change through awareness campaigns, but the choice for many is to continue operating with personal bank accounts/cash/tribal business entity structures to reduce taxation (and in some states, e.g. Nagaland, extortion). I personally hope to see this change in the coming years so that NE can really thrive within India's national startup ecosystem. -Caleb
@dejikay2564 Yes you are right about the support from StartUp India and GOI along with the help from the State Govt. But what happens is that the beneficiaries of such support are usually usually orthodox businesses which have business collateral with hardly any use of modern technological innovation like chicken and pork poultry, diary, local grocery stores etc, while almost all the startups featured in this video are all bootstrapped using personal savings and taking loan from family and friends. Since these startups don't have any business collateral and only an idea in their mind was they have to start the business, they are usually rejected from various startup and business schemes and loan proposal which might have helped to develop their products at the initial stage. Since the tech startups are funding to start their own businesses, it became really hard for them due to cash crunch at first, making them lose months and years to complete even the trial first version of their products mainly due to huge cash crunch, and This evenTually leads to Manipur lagging behind in the race of development of tech startups but Manipur. Later on, when these tech startups survived all odds and are ready to with the products, they are now accepted for getting financial support from the schemes of GOI na state govt, but still the conditions provided to the startups were usually not feasible and sometimes the support fund amount are usually not upto that much to scale their businesses. Apart from this, their is no relaiable angel investment group or VC firms that can back this startups. Lastly, I want to say that, the GOI and their schemes are being implemented in Manipur but the problem is the stakeholders in Manipur who are responsible for execution these programmes and skills lacks proper knowledge of how to groom the new generation tech startups, which is one of the major reasons, most of these startups haven't mentioned about it, and also their supports are mostly from incubators, accelerators, angel investment networks and VC firms from outside of Manipur which they have researched using their own expertise and knowledge.
Food wifi is the worst, took my money and didn't deliver the food....i complained multiple times but did not get a refund. I've never had such a bitter experience.
Brother , my name is Thangminlun Haokip too, and the way you pronounce is so cute. Actually, a week ago Khokhon , a rooftop industry was established in Lamka, Ccpur. Hoping it grows too❤
Hopefully the pronunciation wasn't too bad 😅 the founder actually shared the pronunciation with me on WhatsApp, but it's hard to emulate without the fundamental understanding of the language. Looking forward to seeing the Manipur startup ecosystem bounce back! -Caleb
I hope and pray for peace in Manipur....such a beautiful state and was ignore by the center for many decades with wasted corrupted politicians and still people don't give up on hope. if they only have a good leaders I am sure the economy will boost high rocket.
