The more I read and find out about Simon Cowell's managing style and how he treats people under his management makes me feel that if 1D came back together and released music in a few years time without any of his influence not only will they be happier but the music will be a thousand time better. I mean under his management Liam developed a drinking problem, Zayn developed an eating disorder and had to deal with racism and micro aggressions, Harry developed anxiety and Niall went a long time not getting treatment when he injured his foot and in general all five of them were over worked and exhausted. That's not healthy. And also the boys were all locked into playing specific rolls in the group, were dressed and styled very specifically and all the tabloids pushed particular images of them like Harry was seen as the ladies man. the one who dates all the girls and made it sound like he was bed hopping every other night but if you really look Harry is so respectful about women and constantly says that he wants to keep his relationships out of the public eye. The level of control Simon had over these 5 young guys is disturbing. I am glad they quit when they did because I feared if they hadn't at least one of them would have ended up either in prison or rehab after burning out, breaking down and doing something stupid.

Steps is my favorite British pop group ever. I almost break my heart when they split in early 2000 due to H & Claire formation as a duo so the duo only tasted temporary success then it disbanded. I'm so happy now that years has passed and time has healed the wounds of backstabbing, hatred, and all the negativity that the group they encountered they finally went back together and stronger and released new albums which shared equal vocal talents of each band members. I remember being around 12 yrs old when Steps split and I was heartbroken 😢 Just 3 weeks ago, I got to see them live on their 'What The Future Holds' tour and they were fantastic! They may have had a messy breakup, but they've achieved one of the most successful comebacks in recent music history. Well done Steps 🥰

LITTLE MIX because I’ve been a fan of the girls ever since 2011 so basically ever since they won the X Factor and I love them so and I don’t know what my life would be like without the girls and when Jesy Nelson announced that she was leaving LM I literally locked myself in my room sat on the floor and cried however in 2019 Perrie Edwards was thinking about leaving LM but she decided to stay however if Pez left my reaction will be completely different even though I love all of the girls Pez Is my favourite cuz every time she cries she makes me cry it’s like me and her have the same mind 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They've lasted longer than any group being 10 years and they've never gotten American promo yet here they are as legends and the standard . I love spice girls they were my first group ever that I loved but I'm not biased and can see when the torch is passed. Robbie left TT in July 1995 just before they were about to do the Nobody Else tour. I remember watching the breakfast news the morning after the news broke and all of girls were sat on break reading the newspapers. TT announced they were to split in February 1996 (it was the half term holiday) and officially split in April 1996. If Robbie leaving and them spliting today happened on the scale it did back then it would probably crash the Internet!

One Direction was my early childhood from when I was 5/6 until I was 9 years old, I was a very big 1D fan In the mist of the height of their success,I got all the merchandise and was one of the youngest fans of the band and had posters DVD'S I didn't know which member I liked, I just said I liked all of them,I think I was 8 when Zayn left but I didn't mind,when they announced they were taking a break I wondered If or when they would return,my obssesation with 1D faded away and I returned to my roots of liking alternative/rock based music, I don't listen to their solo stuff often but I do occasionally have a soft spot for Niall as I found out via Tiktok that he'd been called the ugly one of the group and he keeps having to have operations,If 1D reunites I'll be over the moon because I wish to go back to that time In my life. ❤

I think the title of this video is misleading. Most of the bands haven’t split up, they either went on a hiatus (1D) or are simply not as successful / active as back in the good old days (Spice Girls). And as of 2019 Busted are back to their original formation

I don't get heavilly invested in groups because I expect this. It's happened for decades. 1 or 2 people always has an issue. It's sad people can't work together long term.
