Just tested, the side quests refresh after changing location. So you don't even have to go on a quest. You can just go to the Grandcypher and come back.
@LeaflitAsari Here's how some quests work, you can use lyria journal to refresh their repeatable quest, if they don't have that they can still be refreshed through lyria journal to get their new one to show. But for non repeatable eventually you have to beat a mission. For repeatable, no need for any of that. Just open Lyria Journal and turn in on repeat.
To add to the SP quest tip: it seems the guy resets his quest whenever you go through a loading screen, you can actually refresh the quest by entering and then exiting Lyria's journal. Might not be better than the slimes depending on your character strength, but it's helpful to dump a bunch of shards if you don't need them.
another thing about potion hoarder, blue potions give you link points, incredibly useful to proc link time, say you are about to proc a link attack but your link gauge is only 94%, blue pots can close the gap and proc link time which a lot of the time lets you do a lot of damage and skip mechs. if all 4 players dump blue pots you can hit 30-40% off the bat
Hey Leaflit, awesome advice! I've learned a lot from you. Just a few notes: - You don't need to save your vouchers when using the sigil transmutation. Any uses you do prior to unlocking proud mode COUNT toward the transmarvel. I had a lot of uses available to me when I unlocked it. - Those quest you mentioned to redeem from the shards. There are two of them for each pair of shards. You can reset them by going into your Lyria's Journal and back out Thanks for the video!
If you have the Path to mastery sigil equipped, you get extra mastery from quests, meaning the shard quest will give you more each time just by having that equipped.
The only thing is: how in this fucking world am I suppose to know if I immediately want to play with a character unless I play with it? It's not like I have multiple accounts or anything... I can't foresee if I will like their playstyle or not... as a matter of fact, it did happen in the past, a character that everybody seem to love and I unlocked it and it was super boring (Narmaya)
When you get a voucher, save in front of siero, go to options and turn off autosave. Then try out a character. When you are done you can reset back to title screen and load your save to try as many as you like.
first time watching your channel and wow! these are not only the best tips Ive heard over numerous videos - but the only time Ive even heard of the majority of em.. it feels likes a lot of streamers just rehash the same shit everyone else does, which makes It obvious that you know what you are talking about. Thanks for using your understanding of a lot of unspoken mechanics to provide some actually useful tips. The only issue I have is not watching this video sooner.
Best voucher farm for me is that extreme ship survival mission forgot the name, you get loads of machine parts and hq scrap which after 3 runs you get at least 800 vouchers it's crazy. Super ez mission too
maybe i can give 1 more tips if you full burst it will always give you a 100% link gauge so if your link gauge is already 90 % or 100 % don't full burst use the link and then full burst..
Just to point out. The mastery side quest guy at folca only unlock at Maniac Difficulty and only after you complete a certain amount of side quest at Folca, so if you do not see him when you unlock maniac difficulty just do a bunch of easy side quests at folca and refresh with lyria journal till you see him.
Actually, with the repeatable quests for the elemental shards, you can just open Lyria's Journal and exit back out to refresh them. It essentially counts as a location change too. Keep on grinding! And good luck!
Wow great vid thanks so much! One minor correction. New recruit levels have nothing to do with your level. I also believed this and was grinding levels but every time I looked they were still 45 even though I was 85. It's entirely based on story progression. Finish main and they will be 45, finish Rolan notes and they will be 60. So focus on completing the post story before quests and leveling if you want to add crewmates.
The link refresh is good with Yodarha, he gets one shroud back from the link s trike, and then another shroud because the link strike can instantly go into a combo finisher. so that's 2 out of 3 shrouds spent back immediately
Yea I had just finished unlocking every character an hour before I found out about how Terminus weapons drop lol It's gonna be a looooooooong grind lol
@@HeavyMetalLink05I unlocked 7, SEVEN FUCKING CHARACTERS😂, yesterday before sleep time, I wake up today and I see this video. I'm planning to play all of them but damn.
The block then dodge was something I figure on my own , I always felt like I can dodge better if I do this way than just trying to dodge normally. Good to know it’s an actually thing instead of a feeling of mine. 👍🏻
You popped up on my recommended list on RU-vid, as I'm playing this great game. So glad your channel was recommended: great content and I clicked with you, as it were... you know, sometimes people get on your nerves for some subjective reason and, occasionally, there's those you really like. Fortunately, you sit easy in the latter camp. Good to be here. Subscribed for more 😉👍
Option select dodge is nice but guarding will always disrupt your combo or special combo bonus state so it's only good for avoiding attacks during situations where you can't attack back.
Meanwhile, I'm soloing the game with just the main character cuz it makes the game feel like a souls game. The 4-man party is too OP, I'm using them just on those red stones where powerful enemies show up and you have limited time to kill them. My builds will be ruined for sure, but maaan, it's so much fun soloing this game. Feels like playing Sekiro, but actually having enough healing items and not having to die for every small mistake. If I reach critical state I restart from the checkpoint though. It's like having the souls game that I always wanted. Just hard and challenging, without the usual bs, insanity and unfairness.
Love your guides! Very noob friendly for people like me. I just unlocked extreme difficulty! I can't decide who to main and funnel my resources into though. Every character is fun! I've been only playing solo with cpu. I can't decide between Io, Narm, Lance, Ferry, or Vane.
I was under the impression that the proto bahumat weapons didn’t work that way I thought that it can drop any weapon but if you don’t own the character nothing will drop instead of it rolling from your pool of owned characters I thought the chance wouldn’t actually go down but just that you’d see the drops for those other characters when you usually wouldnt
A slime just told me to massacre a bunch of slimes for gold and MP. There is a joke here but since I got two lucky runs with Prismatic Slimes I am too happy to even joke.
There are 2 sigil things I want them to take care of at our little vendor and it’s a mass transmute and increase the voucher cap. Why do I have to look at every transmute animation and why do I need to trade treasures multiple times instead of just doing all at once.
Hidden tip!!!!!!! Utilize save scumming!!!!!!! When farming for those super important 5+ sigils (make sure you have 999 vouchers) you can save before you use them. If you get bad rolls on your sigils, just reload the save and do a quest to reset the sigils you get and try again!!! ALSO works with over masteries!!!!!
For potion hoarder, does it only apply if I, my playable char, has it equipped? Or do the other party members (CPUs) count too and I equip it on them? Outside the party, I will just assume Sigils wont affect anything.
I think its been proven your AI/CPU members don't have potions to use. Instead you need to put auto revive, or Guts on them and give them a heal skill to use on you and themselves. But half the time the AI is better at blocking and dodging than a real person, so they rarely go down lots of people noticed.
So I beat Proto... curios are purely random right? I am auto farming an extreme quest. Some people are saying that curios are tied to difficulty... but I think it's random overall. I have every sigil except suppliment and it's driving me nuts
Yeah they need to fix the matchmaking because it's obviously having issues. But I normally play with group of friends anyway so luckily it's not much a problem
If you play on Steam, I have a video on my channel covering a fix that helped me with that exact issue. Hopefully it can help you too, cause having no people to play with sucks >.
I love these styles of guide. The casual, real-time showing and telling helps the brain absorb the info better. Also brand new to Maniac and just zoned out on the Slime quest for the past 3 hours. Saw no Rainbow Slime unfortunately, but all the shinies and mastery points make my brain go brrrrrrrr
I was a bit worried at first that the guide wasn’t “professional” enough so this really gives me more confidence in the style since I don’t have time to put heavy editing.
@@LeaflitAsari I think it works well because it feels really authentic, like you're just listening to that one really smart/nerdy friend showing you their account and explaining the game to you lmao
Just wanna know should i have atleast 1 level 100 character so that when i get someone using a crewcard its automatically level 60 cause my friend is in the post game and he got a crew for level 35 only
@@LeaflitAsari it is but there is a perfect guard mechanic if you time it like some others like percy's charge attack or ghondagoza's CA but I think his acts as a dodge?
