Hi there, I was a bit cofused by the words "turn signal" and "Blinker". Aren't they called indicators? Or is that british english only? We use the word Blinker here in Germany, too^^

+jsh yes i can confirm that i'm from thailand. Especially taxi drivers. Most of them are asshole. i traded paint with taxi once because he suddenly stop to pick up passenger but the taxi's tail still on my lane.

+Zoey Legend Yeah I hate it when people do that, I've always been amazed how some of them still move to cut me off even when I am driving my grandpa's RV. My 27 foot long house on wheels will crush your puny Hummer! They do it a lot with trucks too, were I've actually slowed down to let them in before.

We live at a crossroads, so have to listen to all kinds of crappy music while drivers pull side-by-side for a chat or a drug deal. First 10 years here it was rap & hip hop, last 10 years it's been bad mariachi.

I'll be honest, the loud music doesn't bother me too much. What does bother me is when the "music" is nothing but obscenely loud bass and it feels like your windows are going to fall out.

I live in a college town and we had students moving in this weekend and I was coming down a hill with a college student behind me and I had to make a left hand turn so I had to stop and wait for a car to pass by me before I could turn. I had my turn signal on and this guy decides instead of waiting for me to turn that he is going to come flying down the hill around me without even slowing down and almost hitting a police car that was sitting by the intersection watching for speeders. He got pulled over and ended up with a ticket for reckless driving because the cop that was in the car happened to be a family friend of mine.

You cannot go over the speed limit, in the passing lane. It's illegal. It's there for people to pass people who are going slower, in the right lane. And it's for passing ONLY. Once you've passed a slower vehicle, you have to back into the right lane.

Goddess .fourwinds you are right what is see is as you go to pass they pick up speed, so you slow down to get back in the line then they slow down. The train seems to be less stress then driving.

I can user stand not speeding up to match traffic on a ramp, you only have so much road to pass into the lane until it ends and I've had enough experience with dicks on the road to never trust anyone to make room for you.

Not stopping at a stop sign is illegal. There could be someone coming but you don't see them because they're going so fast. It's your fault if you crash into somebody. Better safe than sorry.

What really grinds my gear is when a ambulance is on the other side of the road to go to a emergency you have drivers who stop even though the ambulance is on the freaking other side of the road. They say you only have to stop if they are coming from behind you or at a busy intersection . That just go's to show that people don't read the question on a test that they took they just fly right through the test with no though at all I mean seriously it the most annoying thing ever I swear. Does anyone else agree with me on that if not then something wrong.

+KingdomHearts Master all my life the sirens will and should stop all traffic everywhere no matter what side of the road your on. I think it makes sense so the emergency vehicles can get where they need to go quickly.

What annoys me is that I'm trying to cross the street or a part of the parking lot, and while one car lets me through, the other one doesn't. I remember one time I was walking to a mall, and this driver let me through. However, this other driver flipped me off just when they were driving up. *sighs* But when a car is turning the corner and they don't see that the BLOODY CROSS LIGHT ON so they nearly run me over and blame it on me. It's my time to cross. They look. It's as simple as that.

I know that cross walk thing. I live in a town of 6200, and I had to hit the hood of a car that was halfway into the cross walk when I had the right-of-way. You'd think with so few people here, watching out for each other would be easy...

LA isn't bad. It's just completely packed place. But, at least, you can change lanes without a problem. It's always a tourist or someone not from LA that won't let you into a lane once you've turn on your signal light.

That is pretty awful. I'll admit that I often stop over the crosswalk so that I can see the oncoming cars better, but I always slow down and look for people trying to cross first.

In my country law says you dont need to stop to pedestrians if they arent physically ON the crosswalk. Which means you need to pray cars stop for you if you try to cross lol

seriously though, wasting an advanced signal doesn't even get a mention? the first few cars in a left lane ought to be ready to floor it when that green arrow pops up, but some assholes sit for 5 seconds then slowly go through. now 3 cars make it instead of 8.

One thing drivers do that really annoys me (and this is related to tailgating) is people coming up on my tail super fast and then swinging around to pass! This is especially bad on a two-laner.

I think the main problem with driving nowadays is that people drive according to the rules in front of their examiner and instructor but as soon as they pass they feel they have the skill at driving to own the road and do as they please. That's not how it works.

Also ppl need to learn how to use and entrance ramp correctly. It's used to get your car speed up and in line with the highway speed you are going into. Don't be going 20 MPH merging onto a 65 MPH interstate cause its dangerous.

One that's _really_ been driving me crazy lately is when I'm driving down the road and some douche pulls out in front of me forcing me to hit my brakes. Especially when there's no cars behind me. They could just wait a couple of seconds to safely pull out after I pass by, but no.

The speed limit is not what is posted. The speed limit is the maximum safe speed for given conditions. The posted speed limit is the maximum speed for perfect conditions. If the road is wet or icy, or visibility is limitted, the speed limit will be lower than what is posted.

my top 3 unpleasant drivers are 1. slow speed in 1st lane (out of 3, 4 lanes) 2. cutting into the line at the end of exit which blocks another lane 3. no turning signal

My #1 is when everyone obviously sees the Left Lane Ends Merge Right signs, because there are 6 of them, but continues driving in the left late until it ends, and then tries to cut in front of everyone.

It's good to do that actually.. So no one drives into them when they switch.. My grandfather(my dads dad) does that all the time, same with my grandmother(my dads mom), my stepdad too. My mom and dad doesn't though. Don't know if my moms dad does that.. Haven't seen him drive on a multi-lane road.. My moms mom doesn't even drive.. She's blind in one eye... Don't know why I said this, but I did...

Krow Baby What? How? When I already know you are changing lanes or turning, there is no point. Signal lights are meant to give people notice that you are changing lanes/turning. That's like telling someone "heads up" as the object is hitting them. Better late than never doesn't apply here.

1) Block the right lane, especially when there SHOULD be enough room for the cars behind to turn on red. 2) Signal... but not actually turn... 3) Pull out in front of you, and then drive really slow.

I am partly convinced that Mad Max was originally inspired by my home town. Every driver in the city apparently thinks the road sighs are the local governments way of challenging their manhood. My driving instructor even told me that when driving down the road "Always assume that every one of these drivers has a death wish, and want to take you with them".

Why? the yellow turns on for a second, then turns red, so if never made it in time (Which is less likely for you to make it), you'd be getting into major accidents, and paying tickets, or even answering to the police. So does that change your opinion?

Nice list but you forgot when a driver is going straight through an intersection, stops at a red light, and is blocking the person behind them from turning right on red. I understand if they are going to turn right immediately after the intersection, but that's not often the case.

They did miss one though. Picture this scenario, (And I'm sure many of you have lived it) You are in the fast lane passing slower cars and someone comes up behind you. You politely get over once you have passed but instead of passing you they hang right on your bumper in the fast lane till you come up on another slow car and have to slow down because you can't get over to pass them. Makes me want to run the asshat off the road.

I do not drive but as a passenger the one that annoys me most on your list was the Bright lights and multiple parking spaces tied at first. I have never been in a car and noticed someone stopped in an intersection otherwise that would also be number 1; I have light sensitive vision and do not get out of vehicles easily which is why those two are number one.

Car Brands and how they are infamous for: BMW - Taking up two parking spaces. Audi - They Tailgate BMW (Again) - They don’t use turn-signals Range Rover - They text and drive Mercedes-Benz- They take your parking spot.

One thing happened to me though, I was Cineaworld (Movie Theater in England) some couple was going to leave but they're parking ticket said they could stay for 3 more hours, so the couple gave it to my parents, which they started to back out, we were waiting, and some idiot tried to get in before we could. Luckily, we got the spot and watched Captain America: Civil War

I can't stand when someone lives in the fast lane even though they have a line of cars behind them. I'd also add taking forever to go through a light after it turns green.

My most common thing I hate is when I am passed, not only am I going the speed limit, sometimes 5-10 mph faster, and I still get passed. Just to arive at destination or a stop light or something right at the same time as them. You are NOT making any time by passing me, there will be SOMETHING that will slow you down on a road, ill be right behind you!

The reason the elderly drive slow is to make up for their decreased reaction time. So next time you're behind elderly driving slow, they're doing it to be safe.

Okay I'm guilty of driving under the speed limit sometimes, especially on highways, because I don't feel safe driving ridiculously fast. I feel like I have no control over my car. And I hate the rude drivers who ride your tail and beep at you because you don't want to go 80 mph. The next time you get mad at someone for driving slower than you'd like, think about the fact that maybe that person is a new driver, or is afraid to go faster. Driving can be pretty scary. Give people a break. It's much better than someone speeding way over the limit.

There is no fast lane, it's the overtaking lane. Once you have overtaken someone you must then move back into the previous lane.

How about braking in the acceleration lane on the expressway? I've never driven on the expressway, but I'd like to at some point. Isn't it an annoyance when people hold you up on your way to the freeway?
